What's on your Thursday Menu?
on 4/6/23 2:09 am
Good Morning! You know how sometimes that first cup of coffee is just absolutely perfect -- like a hug? Today is that day :) I hope this means I have an awesome day ahead :) I'm almost done with Easter cookies--just a few more things to do this morning, then I need to transform my cookie room back into a dining room for Easter. I didn't get much done on that paper yesterday, so I need to get on that today, too.
I used the rower yesterday for the first time, but--surprise--Grim and I are not exactly the same size, lol, so I couldn't really reach the foot pads. I didn't know that part was adjustable, so it was uncomfortable and weird but I made it work. Even though I did it wrong, it was a solid workout and I felt it later. I will adjust it today and try again :)
Our height differential for reference:

Mornin folks. Hope today finds you all doing well. JB and Grim, y'all are such a cute couple!
Not just a whole lot planned for the day. I don't have a UTI soooo I get to see about that with the pain clinic. Part of me wants to ignore it and act like it isn't that bad, which it could be worse, but if I don't advocate for myself no one else will. I'm fearful of what this'll do. It's honestly not helping with the pain a whole lot but we'll see. Gawd I'm over complications lol
I do need to work on some chainmaille today. I'd like to get a bracelet or two made at least and maybe a pendant. I don't know if I mentioned it but the brisket turned out so yummy and not tough whatsoever. First time I've done it on my own so yay!
My PCP put me on iron and I'm not looking forward to it. It upsets my stomach...even slow fe does.
QOTD: never have I tweeted or TikToked
B: brisket breakfast street tacos and coffee
L: thinkin grilled chicken

What a relaxed puppy. I would much rather have dogs and cats than a new couch. Good choice Melody!

Melody,
Have you ever tried Proferrin iron?? It's highly absorbable and no GI effects. It's good stuff!!

I also recommend the proferrin, no stomach issues from it at all.

The last time this came up I spent some time looking up proferrin. There appeared to be a couple kinds on Amazon with that label name. Which do you take?
