Your travel adventures are so fun to read. The more I read the more I think I might be able to do it. DH has always wanted to travel like this and I used to tell him "by all means, you drive to the next location, but I'll fly. And I want a hotel room and shower!"

We should definitely talk first. Wine, chocolate, whispered secrets. Then decide.

Good morning everybody!

Registration day went pretty well. He got all four of his summer classes: a one week, one credit field session between spring and summer semesters, a gen ed class for first summer semester, and one electrical engineering and one computer science class for second summer semester. I haven't seen the bill for all of that, but we are veryexcited that he got in.

For fall semester there were two problems. One of his computer classes wouldn't let him in because it is showing him as not having the prerequisites. We understand that this is a result of the re-naming and re-numbering of one of his previous computer science classes. He submitted a form to explain this and he and Marilyn expect it to be resolved favorably within 48 hours. Also, there are plenty of available slots in this class once the pre-requisite issue is resolved. But this one stresses me because he needs to take this class in the fall in order to graduate in May with his Electrical Engineering Major/ICE focus/Computer Engineering Minor.

The second issue relates to a second one credit field study course for fall. This one was just filled up. There are four field study options and some of them are offered in the Spring. None of them are pre-requisites for anything else. But the one that he wants to take involves the students actually designing circuit boards and having them fabricated in Taiwan for use and he really wants the experience, if at all possible. He has contacted the professor to see if he can be added to the class. He has worked so hard, I hope that he gets the opportunity to take that field session. I love to see him self-advocating.

Once we have locked down his schedule, I am going to book a Viking cruise to Asia for Marilyn and I. My younger son's registration is Friday, but his seems to go much smoother being a larger school.

Tonight's Happy Hour will be the first glass of wine in 5 weeks. I am a little bit nervous because of the dizziness that I have been having when I go from reclining to standing over the last few weeks. I will just have to be careful about that after Happy Hour while we are watching TV.

QOTD: Yes.

Have a great day, all!

Drink more water to help with the brown puts when you change position. I have to be at 100 oz fluid a day to avoid them.

"the dizziness that I have been having when I go from reclining to standing over the last few weeks"

That's a typical orthostatic hypotension symptoms. The whole-30 , and you losing the weight probably caused some imbalances and water loss. I still get that and to me it's a reminders to get my electrolytes in and sodium. I make my own Sole water, plus I make or buy electrolytes packets to put in my water. I need 1-2 per day plus sodium.

Load up on water first, Jim. Extra hydration may help that dizziness. It does for me. I tend to dehydrate pretty easily and my first clue is getting dizzy when I stand up. My second clue is my hands look like a 97 year old chicken's feet. Lol.

That dizziness sounds like blood pressure. Have you had that checked lately? Looking forward to a txt this evening if all goes well.

I am amazed that you & M know all the nitty gritty details of your son's schedule. With ours, we just get the bill and pay; I have no idea what classes he is taking but I know for sure he is not taking any summer classes.
