What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Somehow I remember the pic of this cheese that you posted a while back. Am I remembering it correctly?

I love it. The real oscypek is made from sheep's milk. But since the tourists started coming and buying the real stuff... that thing has been made with cow's milk or combination cow/sheep So unless you know people, you get the other stuff...I hate that.
That actually may be a good idea, take Keith to Krakow and Zakopane ... Warsaw - we could do another time... I'll have to check what he would like more. Because if i ask him -what would you like to see ? I'll get "everything?" lol.
BTW: I speak polish but I've been so long out of Poland that the local Polish people almost always know I live in US- America.

We bought it at a market stall in Krakow and they said it was sheep (when we realized it wasn't a wood toy of some kind, lol)

in Krakow - my best bet it would be mix cow and sheep's milk. itt's the safest bet. The farther from the real mountains you go - the least the real sheep milk you get. But they may have exemptions.

Entirely possible! I can only go by what they said but regardless, it was delish! If there's a tastier version, I hope I get a chance to try it some time!

Good mornin everyone.
The weather ended up being crazier than they thought it'd be. Most of the dirt and dust in the air was coming from White Sands in New Mexico. Our highest gust was 68 or so, I hate the wind like this. It was 86 or something temp wise. Right now it's 30° weather whiplash! Lots of fires. One is still going on north of here and has burned over 5,000 acres.
My appointment yesterday went ok. My A1c went up a bit and I think my iron is pretty low. I should hear from the doctors office today to see what's up and what he wants me to do.
I have two appointments today...one on zoom and one on the phone. The phone one is with the social security administration and I'm extremely nervous about it. It's just supposed to be a check up on my case. Nothings really changed...for the better anyway health wise. Oh and everything is more expensive. I've got all my bank statements since 2/2/21 wish me luck please. The phone is not my favorite form of communication, I just get awkward for some reason.
QOTD: there are certain number sequences that I always notice. 757, 317, 211 and a lot more. I always like catching the clocks on 12:34 and on math problems.
B: oatmeal and coffee
L: brisket, which turned out so yummy and tender
D: maybe a brisket street taco
S: ???

You were doing so well on getting your A1C under control, maybe this is just an anomaly. Stress and things like that definitely can factor in for a one time impact.
When I have to have a difficult phone call, I will usually just write down three or four bulletpoints on what I want to be sure to cover; it helps if I start to get off track, feel like things are getting too heated, etc. Calls can be difficult because you only get verbal cues and so much of communication is body language so don't beat yourself up about feeling awkward, I don't think it's that uncommon. Good luck!
