I am all for cauliflower and even nut milk, but don't take my dairy, specifically cheese, from me. And if I get to smoke a cigarette while flipping everybody off, SIGN. ME. UP.

Interesting weekend! We have my MIL's house on the market to rent. The previous tenants left in Nov but if took us a while to hire the contractors and fix everything. The ad went live on Fri and we had a ton of applicants. On Sun I was at the house showing to the prospects when I get an email from one saying it's not fair that the new rent is 1/3 less than what we had posted on Fri. Color me surprised for I had no idea what he was talking about. Turns out somebody had picked up our ad, duplicated it, and posted it again with inquiries going to him. The scam was he was asking for application fee, deposit, SS#, etc right off the bat. We flagged the ad as fraud and it got pulled down right away, but it was up there for a good 2 hours. It's mind boggling to me that people can do that, and I feel bad for people who actually fall for this scam.

QOTD: I know it's no longer PC to have animals at the circus, but when I was little I loved the elephants and those who rid them. I would have loved to be one of the girls riding the elephants with those flowy thingys attached to my head that looked like I was flying. I also loved the high in the air acrobats but I think I'm too chicken to try that.

Sheila, I get the three San Diego colleges mixed up. Is it your son's college that is playing tonight?

I think so, but don't quote me on this. I have no idea what/who is playing. The only reason I might know is because on parents FB page they keep saying "go Aztecs", but don't know if it's football/baseball/basketball or for all I know it could be pickle ball.

I think the only reason that my son knew that UAB went to the NIT was that everyone got a bonus extra credit on their Chemistry exam.

I just went back and looked. It's basketball.
