Good mornin everyone, hope that you're all doing well. Wishing all that are feeling unwell or uneasy better and a restful weekend.

Not a lot planned for the day here. Not sure if I'll make the apple pie tonight or tomorrow morning. The part is at 2 or 3 at our biggest park here...it's going to be 85 or so Sunday. Yay lol

I'm really really exhausted. The wind yesterday was awful. Thankfully our areas fire men and women kick ass.

QOTD: what hobby/pastime would you go into if money was no worry and you had endless resources?

Metal smithing or lapidary.

food is totally unplanned for for the day.

here is a bracelet I made yesterday, anodized titanium and stainless steel gradient.

Hello Melody and weekenders

Been a rainy day in Sydney which suits me just fine and I'm trying to stay relaxed and happy. Hope everyone is going well.

QOTD: Professional sports and TV watcher lol I'd love to do really easy things for the rest of my days if I could afford it. I am not going to lie!

Food: Shake, Protein Water, Bolognaise (with a tiny little bit of pasta to see how it goes), Protein Chips and we shall see.

Have a great day and weekend!

Good morning Mel and weekend menuers!

You're getting a ton of chainmaille done with how tired you are. I can't imagine how you're able to do that given the amount of focus it probably takes. From yesterday- is resin casting outside not a possibility?

QOTD- I'd opt to travel full time if resources were no object. I'd also build a library at home. I do miss reading. Would take up drawing again with some fancy supplies. Maybe photography since a lot has changed since I did weddings on film 20+ years back. I used to want to work for National Geographic as a kid.

Whatever drugs were in my system yesterday also took all the abdominal pain with them for the day and I gratefully and carefully consumed as much protein as possible to keep healing going. It's back today. I'm beginning to appreciate anesthesia and just the fade out and fade in at being done with procedures. When I asked about my teeth, they said they went to heaven. Ha.

Swelling isn't too bad that I can tell. The doctor gave me 4 prescriptions that I need to head home and pick up. One is an antibiotic, plus a rinse, a painkiller I seem to be building a collection of, and I don't remember.

They told me to take ibuprofen, which I don't have. They gave me Aleve samples, so I did take those. My surgery type does allow nsaids but I still try to avoid them. The instructions said basically bed rest and little movement so I used it as an excuse to binge watch Forensic Files and make progress on the book I've been working through.

One of my goals for the week is not to have to chew anything. When I get home I'll make Greek yogurt protein pudding, protein oatmeal, and probably that shepherd's pie again with some lean ground something.

Accountability- Had plain hotel oatmeal, hotel Chobani blueberry yogurt, and spent an hour mincing one of those little hotel veggie egg white omelets into oblivion so all I had to do was swallow. Plus three protein shakes.

Exercise- Not much today. The morning walk in was more uncomfortable than I thought it would be

Menu - Protein shakes, ratio yogurt, probably oatmeal for good carbs.

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I can't remember - do you have a n appt for your stomach pain? I hope you feel better.

I like anestesia too, very much.

I have an EGD tentatively scheduled for Wednesday morning. They're supposed to call me back when it clears insurance. Based on the test, I think the surgeon thinks it's unrelated to the gallbladder surgery.

They also do anesthesia and place an IV. Unlike yesterday where I had to show up 15 minutes early, Wednesday is 2 hours for what they're calling pre-op.

I hope they are able find what is causing the problem.

Glad your procedure went well and that the pain medication allowed you to get in more protein. One scheduled medical appointment behind you. Yay!

Have a relaxing weekend and rest up.

They may need to check ID uou have a leftover stone in the bike track, that can happen.

Or, sometimes the bile track gets scar tissue as it heals and that can cause complications fof liver and pancreas.

I hope its nothing major.

Thank you, I'll call this out since I don't think the test they have planned would show any of those things. I'm trying not to speculate too terribly much but it is feeling like some kind of blockage. We'll see!

Good morning!

Melody, you must live in a wind tunnel! Beautiful bracelet and especially different with the ombré effects. It is a work day for me so nothing else on the agenda other than a work out. My muscles are still hurting from the last one.

QOTD. I would love to be able to travel or at least I think I would. Several long trips would probably change my mind ..... Or to be able to have an Art Studio!

Menu. More of the same. I am very boring with my food.
