What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good morning and Happy Friday,
We made it through another week. The beat goes on.
I'm tired of posting about my challenges over the last couple months. Here's some good this week: Small scholarship from an appearance before the scholarship committee, every minute with Emily, getting the club's taxes done, finished clearing out my Dad's apartment, rock Star parking in the loop, David Cross comp tickets, inner peace, world peace... I may still be working on the last two.
QOTD - 10 / 10 Recommend: J. Kenji Lopez Alt - best way to cook anything from a scientific approach. Utilizing available resources and asking for help when needed. Music as a coping strategy. Remaining curious and staying present - It seems like opportunities keep presenting themselves with an open mind. Stopping to talk to a stranger or getting to know a familiar face. A smile.
B: Hard boiled egg, slice of bacon, tangerine.
L: lamb chops.
D: slab of red meat. Probably filet or rib eye at a steakhouse. I am thinking about butter with mashed potatoes mixed in (It really isn't mashed with the amount of butter pretty much outweighing the potatoes)
Pic: Walking across the bridge to PNC in Pittsburgh.

Love your weekly good news.
Do we get to meet Emily? I feel like we are all proxy family and need to meet the SO!

Yes, I will bring her to the OH conference next year. I hope everyone approves. Seriously, I do need to figure out something amazing to do Sunday. I'm leaning towards Jazz Brunch or top of the '****

I also have staggered across it. I also bought a 'Ben is a Rapist' shirt on it that I gave to a Roethlisberger fan...

G'morning all!
QJB - Eugene looks beautiful and yay for no more hand pain.
People, bear with me and indulge my obsession with protein pudding. I've been obsessed with mixing different flavors of PP with different flavors of sf pudding powders. I think yesterday I finally found a true winner. Cafe latte PP + chocolate pudding powder+ tsp of cold brew instant coffee. OMG, I've never had a coffee pudding and if you wanna really indulge add a squirt of sf whipped cream & few sf Lily's chocolate chips. I think I can rest now for a while from my perennial search of a sweet treat that doesn't wreck my diet.
QOTD:
10/10 - protein pudding
10/10 - Fairlife protein shake, no matter the price
10/10 - indictment day
These are not my pictures but our pier that was half destroyed by the storm now is being taken out piece by piece. Those poor birds are still hanging on.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Mex cauli rice + ground turkey
- Protein pudding (2), jello, frozen yogurt made with frozen berries and Fairlife.
- Epic chicken, lean bar
- E: cardio + weight
Happy Fri-yay!

Early after surgery, I made SF instant chocolate pudding, and mixed chocolate protein powder in it. I forget how much. It was pretty good. But, I learned to make just a serving at a time. I tried making it in larger quantities, and after about 24 hours it would separate into a couple of layers that just looked horrible.
