What's on your Wednesday Menu?
I hate all the coughing. I usually end up sleeping in a recliner to reduce the coughing if it is related to secretions. Have the docs given you any cough suppressants to help you sleep better? Take care, get plenty of fluids, zinc and vitamin C. I hope you also feel better soon.

Oh no, not good. Is there a teledoctor who can get you some good cough suppressants? Nothing is worse than not being able to sleep when you're already sick!

I hope you feel better. Are you constipated? sometimes the trapped gas can feel like that. As "gas trapped between layers of food... "

Thanks! I don't think so. Any time it feels like something dietary might have an impact I hop back on the Miralax to prevent incidents. Been back on for a few days. I did go through my fridge and remove all the stuff that was newly introduced this past week, so that included the leftover pumpernickel and spread. I do know carbs cause me more bloating and gas, so it could be a contributing factor. Not sure how much my surgery type might contribute to constipation that isn't from not going, but that could also be a possibility. Gas pains are no joke!

I want to go to the OH Conference. I have put it on my calendar to block those days off! I hope some others will also come.
I hope your pain get better soon. Can you take a muscle relaxer to help with the pain?

Yay! Hopefully you're able to go! It can be hard to plan five months out.
I don't think they're off the list of things I can take. I literally still have all my pain meds from my last two surgeries, too. A muscle relaxer might help, though! Didn't think of that, thanks!

True story -- that kitten is actually wearing QJB's outfit.
QOTD: I don't know. I've always been poor at languages, so being fluent would be fun. But talking to animals would be cool. When I was very young, I was convinced I knew what Lassie was saying. Or maybe I could pick a third alternative, and be able to translate what people are saying into what they actually mean.
I feel a little bad about not posting daily meals, but they are so limited and routine, I'm not sure anyone is interested. The cats have a wider variety than I do.
