He said he started smoking at 10 and he's not stopping now. 60+ years of smoking, stopping would probably kill him!

Good morning, everybody!

I had a two hour nap yesterday afternoon. I went to lifting in the morning, did some work, sat down in front of the TV and fell sound asleep. So, I am up pretty early today. Reading and mobility work mostly. Today I am in the office and actually pretty busy.

I have been sleeping a little better since I have been on Whole 30. It's not like I sleep 11-7 like clockwork or anything, but I am getting longer sleep at night. Fewer of the mornings lying in bed waiting for it to turn 5:00 so that I can get out of bed. I don't think that my AHI has changed very much - its usually between 1 and 2.5 stops per hour.

QOTD: I haven't seen my surgeon since my RNY. Our model is that a Baritrician sees the patients to do all of the post surgery appointments (and most of the pre-surgery). I see her once a year. I think that during COVID they moved her onto the regular medical staff because I mostly saw the PAC. But I am seeing my Baritrician in August.

I like my nutritionist. I also see her once a year. She is a waif, of course.

Breakfast: Sausage and eggs

Lunch: Steak

Dinner: Blackened Chicken

Have a great day, all!

Hi All-

just wanted to let you know that I'm OK - just very overwhelmed with life at the moment so I need to lay low. I'll be back when I'm feeling more like myself. Hope everyone is doing OK!

Trish, thanks for checking in. I saw you didn't post for a few days after the parents health issues that you mentioned last week and wanted to make sure you were doing OK.
