It is difficult when you tell someone what your likes and dislikes are but totally ignores you to create an eating plan (or workout) that you can't or won't tolerate. That I have no respect for either. Especially when you are paying for the help/advice.

I remember my going for nutritional counseling and he said they were all about 300 pounds and said do as I say not as I do.

I've dealt with a fair few nutritionists over the years. Only one was truly flexible in working with dietary preferences and truly building a plan with you as an individual. That's the one who closed in 2017. Sad panda. The rest somehow seem to have opinions set in stone because that's what the science says. The one I deal with the most at my clinic is rail-thin for sure. Nice guy, lots of handouts. Refers to the manual a lot. My guess is that with big practices like that, they're trying to find ways to handle the most common things and weed out basic issues...they just get so darned indoctrinated in it.

Enjoy veggie day!

Good morning and happy Tuesday!!

Good job remembering before it was too late, that's much better then remember when you went to bed last night!

Show last night was excellent. I had seen him years ago at Red Rocks, he came out smoking a cigarette in the hands with the microphone, along with a glass that looked like whiskey/rum in the other. Last night he waited until about 1/2 way through to light up and no booze, I guess we're all aging. Given I know people that have come to Denver and needed oxygen just to talk, it's actually an impressive feat, lol. The music was rocking, the crowd was having fun and definitely a good monday!

QOTD - yes, although they are in a different state. I can see the surgeon if needed but the whole program team is available and the support group went and stayed virtual in 2020. I get almost everything I need from my local GP though, she's great.

My day two of training starts in a few and ends with the test, I have my trainer this evening and bookclub after that so a busy Tuesday ahead.

menu today in no particular order except the coffee

coffee plus half and half x2

ever roast deli chicken with slice cheese

italian beef

falafel

Have a terrific Tuesday all

His tour was sponsored by Turner Classic Movies so instead of an opener, they did a half an hour of an interview with him on how old movies influenced his lyrics ? lots of Newman, Brando and Gable but some lyrics lines were straight lifts, like ?it?s a lonely old night, but ain?t they all?. Very cool!

he came on at 830 and played straight through to 1036. None of that walk off and get called back for an encore, just played right through.

the first 1/3 was a mix of older tunes with different arrangements which was fun; then he said the middle 1/3 was less concert and more performance, just him while his band took a break, an acoustic sing along of Jack and Diane and it was more of his newer stuff; a few stories, and a really interesting thing where he had recorded Joanne Woodward speaking some of songs and then set that to music, then the final 1/3 was a straight rock show with all the big hits.

he did not play dance naked:-(

Would definitely recommend catching him when he comes near!

setlist below ? as you can see he covered a lot!
