Good mornin everyone!

Well I think the pain pump might not work out. Since they changed it to hydromorphone and the first up tick of the dose I've been having trouble urinating. I thought that maybe I just had maybe a UTI but I really don't think so, my legs are literally screaming at me alllllll the time. I have tried to just deal with it but the more the dose is the harder time I have of it. Sleeping is just **** tbh. I'm so blank that I'm not even feeling the upset yet. I will message the pain pump nurse later today I guess. Yuck, I hate dealing with this stuff.

No big plans today. Yesterday my mom refinanced her car loan. When she first got it she had what you'd call no credit. She had no debts and thanks to that had a 14.9% interest rate. Now it's 5.9% Big change! I got all my bank statements and that cost 46 bucks since I needed so many of them...lots and lots of them. I'm betting my mom will decide to go to the thrift store. Our neighbor crack head made drugs again last night.

QOTD: mine is yes. I have my surgeons and his nurse practitioner's emails.

I have no idea about food for the day.

Man, I'm sorry. How long will they give it to keep testing whether it works?

Good morning! Today, apparently, is Monday, Part Deux. Let's hope there are no hiccups.

QOTD: I've dropped the ball on medical stuff since covid. I had an appointment a couple of months before the pandemic, which the doctor had to postpone. That was a month after covid hit, and it also was canceled. I just drifted off after that.

I never had much use for the nutritionists. They felt it was their life's work to get me to eat salad. I tried a couple of times to make clear the boundaries I would eat within, and what advice could they offer within those parameters. Nope. Plus, they all weighed about 95 pounds.

Same here! The only things I'm current on are my blood work, recent ankle surgery and my eye appts (only because I can't get my contacts refilled otherwise). The rest have fallen to the wayside. Between Covid and starting the new job in the midst I just kept putting the appts aside. Now, some of drs/dentist either retired or aren't on my insurance so it seems like a bigger hassle.

Totally with you on the NUTS. 95 pounds and not a day overweight in their life. Until my current NUT who is just like us and has or has had every issue possible with band and RNY. I'm sure she couldn't get you to eat a salad either.

The nut at my original office was overweight. Not obese but I bet borderline. I had no respect for someone who said do what I say not as I do.

I guess it's a trade off between someone who isn't following their own advice and someone who's sitting there thinking "why won't these fat *******s just stop eating?"

Unless you get someone like Amy's who actually lives this.

I can see it both ways. But I'd still prefer someone who understands the struggle, than someone who thinks they do, but can't.

My RD was never heavy but brought empathy, research and a willingness to share experiences, behavior modification theory's and also learn from the people she was working with, sharing those learnings broadly. She was exceptional.
