Shouldn't you go to a Dr instead of letting it run its course? At least they can give you something to rest.

Ugh. RSV is not joke.

BTW: I keep Albuterol inhaler in reserves for that. Its non steroidal inhaler and when I get really bad chest cold - it made a difference in my breathing and oxygen saturation. It's a Rx but because it's not steroid or other stuff, most docs have no problem prescribing that. I use it when I really have problem taking a breath, and I'm wheezing.

QOTD: yes and no. Yes - but my surgeon moved to another state and I don't like or don't know the others. But the Hermia group - that is associated with the WLS center 0 they have a great doc who already fixed my 2 hernias (hopefully last 2) and i would use them - him without a doubt. As for nutritionist - nope. I have no interest in them because my gut is "freaking special" and their advice wont work for me. I have a great gastro who "gets it" and helps me deal with it.

I can sympathize with the rush. At least you prepared ahead of time so it was grab and go...

I ate too late last night and today my system is letting me have it. Nausea, nausea and headache.. and feeling stuffed.. ugh

Today I'm having acupuncture plus I plan to stop by Costco. Maybe my chiropractor can see me.

My phone is over 4 years old and its start getting flaky... I need a new phone. I really like my current, and in the past I was excited getting a new phone... Now - its a hassle, to get switched. I'm getting old... Or rather, I way over "getting" I'm there already. Ugh. O well..

The phone: I have Pixel 4XL and I plan to get Pixel 7pro, and switch from Verizon to Google Fi services. And since it's a group plan, I have to coordinate with the other 3 people. It makes sense. Google Fi Unlimited Plus offers better international plan so we are going to go with that. Currently there are 3 of us on the plan but I'm adding Keith. 12 years together - and he finally allows me to add his phone to ours... lol.

Food:

coffee, coffee + nausea pills, tea , water...

L: forget about it... ugh.

D: it depends...

G'morning all!

I think I'm the only outlier here. I don't like bacon or anything bacon related. I know, a very big sin if I want to stay in the good graces of QJB/Grim. I remember one of the first times DH tried to cook a breakfast for me, I was gagging just smelling the bacon. And when you guys started talking about the grease under the sink...la la la closing my ears.

We were supposed to have another strong storm last night. We got all the emerg texts from the county about the wind speed, tie everything down, don't drive, etc, but it has been mellow. Rain yes but no disruptive winds in our area so far. We shall see how it is for the rest of the day. I took advantage of the sunny day yesterday and went for my wog in the woods. I love the trails instead of pavements, streets are so hard on your knees.

QOTD: my center has a bariatrician that follows you. After the second year checkup I no longer saw the surgeon. I still see the bariatrician on the yearly basis and if needed more; like now that she is following my iron levels. I haven't seen the NUT since our monthly support meetings got cancelled due to Covid. They tried to merge us online with a bigger group but I didn't like it so no longer attended the zoom meetings. I can still reach out to her through our health app and I do like her a lot.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Tuna + hb eggs
  • Protein pudding, jello, Fage yogurt
  • Epic chicken w/protein puffs
  • E: 5 miles wog

Happy taco Tue!

QOTD- I saw the NUT one time and she was pregnant and did not appear to be very interested in me. My surgeon is now with another group, the main surgeon that I despised lost all of her hospital privileges. There was a support group but of course one person dominated and had to tell all of her woes. Now my PCP runs all of the tests.

I don't have any work yet today, so I probably need to really look for another job.

My roommate is leaving to become a long haul truck driver, his school is in Salt Lake City and starts on 4/10 assuming nothing else happens. When I first got out of the military I drove long haul with my ex-husband. We did it for a little over 6 months and I honestly hated it. I didn't mind the driving but hated not having a home and living out of a suitcase. Actually I had and antique trunk with drawers that I used for my clothes. Being with someone 24/7 is not fun, especially since he was abusive. But that was a long time ago. I'm hoping my roommate enjoys it, he loves to drive and doesn't want to drive buses anymore. He will only be home 1-2 days every month. In some ways I will like being on my own again.

It amazes me that France is so up in arms about raising the retirement age, we let our government raise it without any protests. We should have been out in the streets as well.

Raining here and not very bright outside dull gray day. I need to get my **** together and start working out. I just can't seem to make myself do it, much easier to have a glass of wine and watch TV. Which is one of the reasons that I got here in the first place. I'm late to the party but finally got Apple+ and I absolutely love Ted Lasso. I also watched Shrinking you can't go wrong with Harrison Ford.

I don't eat meat but for some reason don't mind the smell of bacon.

Have a great day everyone!
