Morning gang. I went to see John Wick 4 yesterday. It's everything you'd want it to be. As a bonus they showed the trailer for the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie, opening soon. And a trailer for what looked like an indie Finnish movie, Sisu. Created by the folks who brought us John Wick. Yup, it's a Finnish John Wick, fighting Nazis in 1944. My friend and I will be camping out for tickets.
QOTD: I us this site a few times a day, as well as MFP. I go on NzbGeek a couple of times a day to get my stories, and the Globe and the Times for news.

Your royal highness and everyone else, hope you are all well.
My mental health battle post surgery (9 week anniversary tomorrow) continues, I vary from regret, fear of complications, catastrophising , wanting reversal right through to pure acceptance and understanding how rare in reality problems really are. It's such a rollercoaster but I have faith it will improve lol I do feel insane at times though.
This thread helps a lot. Great seeing so many living normal lives after a period of time and being so positive.
QOTD: great question, part of problem has been using online too much which f's with my head lol I recently joined tik tok to follow RYN patients and there are some wonderful people there including 10 and 20+ year patients still maintaining and had no complications , I don't engage or post but I do enjoy seeing their daily lives shared so openly. Twitter is my addiction though, love it for news, sport and current events.
Food: my morning restriction has been annoying, an effort required to eat or drink much until lunch (no pain, body just not into it) but gets better from there. Food my standard early fare!
Have a wonderful day!

Have you talked to anyone in your program about help reframing your "annoyance" with your restriction? It's the part of the tool that seems to have the longest retention and if you are not seeing it as a positive this early on that could be challenging in the long run. Just a thiught.
