What's on your Thursday Menu?

^^this one is for Grim^^ :)
Hello Thursday, we meet again! What's happening? Nothing happening here... I got through my to-do list easily yesterday, and I continued to hit my goal to stop whatever I am doing and do something active at 3pm, which feels good :)
I guess my ham-obsessed kitty, Innie (below) read the thread yesterday and had his feelings hurt because for the first time ever he didn't sleep with me. Sorry, buddy. I missed him, but it was also kind of awesome to be able to stretch out my legs!
I have literally nothing to do today. Well, one assignment due, but it should only take me 30 minutes or so. Then... not sure what I will do to fill the day? Cookies, I'm sure, but I don't have a plan. It's so crazy to go from being so busy last semester to being so bored this semester.
QOTD: What could you talk about for 30 minutes with no preparation? Besides Hallmark Movies, lol??? I could talk about techniques for decorating sugar cookies with Royal Icing, of course. And from my previous life, I can also talk about the effects of trauma on child development.
Accountability: On plan (with the exception of a bite of cookie mistake)!
B: Protein Coffee
L: Egg Bites
D: Veggie Burger on Mini Naan

Good morning, Queen JB and everyone!
I got back in the habit of lurking so I'll try to come by periodically and post! Life since my marginal ulcer emergency surgery has ramped back up to crazytown. I'm in Philadelphia now with my mom for her cancer treatments and I'm in Utah next week M-F for work. Never a dull moment! I hate how unpredictable that makes my menu. It's too much eating out. I did get us a hotel for next months treatment with a kitchen.
QOTD: hmmm, embarrassingly, the Real Housewives? Of every city! Ha! I Can also talk about product marketing since I've done it my entire career!
I'm headed home this morning on the train. If you buy tickets far enough in advance at odd peak times, it's $18 from dc. Wayyyyy less than the gas and tolls and parking!
I'll hit the grocery on the way from the train station to my house so I at least get 3.5 days of home food!
B: Leftover chicken sandwich from yesterday
L: boars head ever roast chicken and pepper Jack cheese on a wrap. I adore this chicken - it must be slice thin or shaved for maximum deliciousness!
D: I'm thinking I'll grab a rotisserie chicken to keep things easy. Mashed potatoes and green beans as a side. I'll have a bit of both.
Yay!!! DCG!!!

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Aww, cute kitty. Must have felt something in the air. I'm glad you're getting an easy semester. Means traction with anything else you have going on...like party planning for your mom?
QOTD - So many things. Tea, photography, corgis, training and development, cooking, food and nutrition, travel to x country, yeah...you get the point.
Yesterday my neighbor walked over the hill to deliver my Avon order. She took a video of my wind chimes and wants to try and talk her hubby into them. She pretty much also asked if I was the same human she'd met because I look a lot different. I've only seen her once before in person. I asked about their chicken since they used to sell eggs. Turns out, they aren't keeping them anymore since her husband's last medical incident. Ah, well. She made some comments about the work I'm doing around here and then hiked back over the hill with her four dog escort.
Today is light on meetings. I'm managing to be awake again at 5:30, so that's good. I put on a small loaf of pumpernickel bread last night to take my new bread maker for a spin. I love bread and need to find bariatric friendly versions of it, so this is my first attempt, since I still haven't made the keto soda bread. Years ago, I made bread every week, so this is a new challenge.
Edited: I just weighed in. Even though BMI isn't the end-all-be-all, I just hit normal range for my clinic's recorded height today. Still a milestone.
Accountability- I wanted to eat during a 12-6 window yesterday and managed it pretty well. Skipped the pot pie chicken and subbed biltong, Quest cheese crackers and seaweed. Also fed most of the corned beef to the dogs and ate an Oikos yogurt instead. Made my macros and came in at around 850 calories.
Exercise- Recumbent bike today. Yesterday I also did a good bit of touring for property check.
Menu - Last of the corned beef, chicken pot pie stew, egg roll in a bowl I made last night with turkey sausage. Tuna lettuce wrap with boiled egg and tomato. Blueberries, grapes.
Cheers, everyone!
