What's on your Wednesday Menu?
You're a better person than me. When I have had horrible neighbors, I've had to take unconventional action to establish a quality home environment. Latest, was my last upstairs neighbor. She moved in and immediately started banging on the floor (my ceiling) constantly. I've never had anyone complain about noise. I addressed it and she continued. Landlord and cops addressed it; it kept happening. She then went outside and started banging on my windows at 1am. I called the cops and went outside with a bat. She got the idea. It wasn't an issue after that. She did terrorize the other neighbors incessantly until she was evicted.

Hopefully soon there will be a solutions, thanks!

Ok, I know I have been watching wayyyyyy too many Hallmark Mysteries but hear me out! Become a P.I. and in your spare time, take down your neighbor's drug operation (with the help of Mona, of course).
I am totally tuning into this show--make it happen, please!

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Happy Wednesday! It's somehow going to be in the upper 70's today. Crazy!
QOTD- Nothing. Ice cream is not my jam. Maybe something fancy for a nice milk oolong since I'm having trouble finding the one I like these days.
I'm more functional this morning compared to yesterday, so I guess taking the night med at 7pm is a better fit. Still woke up the normal amount for me but no crazy snake dreams, either.
More working from home today. Several meetings and I'll slog out to the pasture to check the ash pile. And maybe do some weeding and check the landscaping again. Some are starting to bud...some are not. Fingers crossed.
Accountability- Extra cheese. I ate double the chicken and half the veggies from one dish. Added a packet of the cheese crackers.
Exercise- Treadmill and recumbent bike!
Menu - Corned beef and vegetables, chicken pot pie stew, think the last of the Thai chicken, sesame tuna in a lettuce wrap. Blueberries, black grapes.
Cheers, everyone!

Getting tired of corned beef yet? Last night, I threw my remaining corned beef in the freezer and made a couple sandwiches for neighborhood panhandlers.

Yep! I would have been good with a single serving of the stuff. Pickling spice is an acquired taste for me. Very, very glad I got a small one. I measured out two ounces for each serving and had six, I think? Plus a bowl of cut up fat and crumbles for the dogs. Freezer space is at a premium right now since I keep buying stuff on sale that takes ages to eat. One more day after today. Then just the chicken pot pie stew! Meal prep is great for planning...so much fun for leftovers.
It's good of you to share with folks. I bought a protein shake while in Dallas and then attempted to walk a few blocks to the convention. Literally didn't make it out the door before the first panhandler asked for money. I don't carry money, but did give him the shake. Least it was something!

Good morning, everybody!
Wednesday already? - I'll take it.
For the last 14 months or so, I have been working out with my Olympic Weightlifting Coach on Monday and Wednesday mornings because he coached Crossfit at 9:00 on those days. Usually we worked out between 10-12:00.
It sounds like he isn't going to be coaching Crossfit any more, so I suspect my schedule is going to be changing. I had really enjoyed going in the mornings, so would prefer not to change if possible. I should find out what the deal is this morning.
Returning more to in-person office is not something that I am interested in doing to fill that time block.
Marilyn found some Applegate Farms Whole 30 compliant treats at Whole Foods - Sliced Ham and Turkey, and two kinds of sausages. Unfortunately, the coconut milk that she bought has sulfites in it which puts it off the list. I will have to discreetly go out and get some compliant coconut milk on the way home from the gym today.
Happy Hour today. It's LaCroix week 3/4. I think that I will go with lime.
QOTD: Klondike bars aren't that high on my list. As far as pre-packaged ice cream treats, I would go Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich first, and then those cones with the chocolate and nut coated tops second.
Breakfast: Corned Beef hash
Lunch: Maybe an omlette
Dinner: Hamburger
have a great day, all!

There is nothing worse than a non-compliant coconut. Well, maybe a recalcitrant melon. But still.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

When the 30 days is up I will probably slurp down those sulfites to avoid having to return the cans.
