Hello Wednesday (the day, not the character) and Menu Friends!
I have had more labs and testing come in for the liver workup. So far everything is negative including the liver elasticity ultrasound which showed as normal. That is good news. It looks like the liver biopsy is in my future. But at least once all said and done, I can be reassured there is nothing bad going on in the liver (assuming the liver bx is also negative). I think there is 2 more labs that need to come in first. Today is an office day with a meeting and more paperwork. I need to prepare for a meeting in which I chair for tomorrow, plus a few other things on my to do list.
I do admit that I don't get many hunger cues, but do eat by the clock unless I feel really full just to make sure I get my macos and micronutrients in. I do notice that I feel weak rather than hunger if I go long periods without eating or after a long workout-which usually means it is time to fuel the body. I also notice, if I skip a snack or meal one day I can notice it the following day with more cravings. Weird.
QOTD: A Klondike Bar, probably nothing, same as the Queen. I like ice cream but would rather have it in a different concoction. Lately, if I do allow myself a treat like ice cream, I limit it to a small ice cream cone from McDonalds or DQ. I try not to go down that road since ice cream was my heroin (think of Ben and Jerrys, Hagan Daz, Cold Stone....).

G'morning all!
Haha! That's me to a T. Always thinking about my next sweet treat. Give them all to me.
We survived another atmospheric river in my neck of the woods. At some point we were getting warnings on our phones about 80MPH winds, shelter in place and stay away from windows. I have never seen a winter like this in the 20+ years I've been here. It's supposed to taper down today around 1:00 pm. Most of yesterday we were out of power so I'm hoping today the power stays on.
QOTD: I'm not a big fan of Klondike, but give me a better icecream and I'll do anything. I love the Magnum icecream bars, they remind me of home. Somebody last summer gave me a yasso (I would have never picked it up on my own) and I was hooked on that, especially the sea salt caramel one. I also love TJ mini cones especially the coffee/chocolate one. I don't trust myself with pint icecreams because the whole pint is one serving in my head but I regulate myself with bars.
My meals yesterday (all cold bcz no power after 11:00 am):
- Coffee
- Chicken skewers (cold is not good)
- Hb eggs, chomp stick, epic chicken
- Crab ceviche
- E: cardio + weight
Happy hump day!

Magnum icecream bars - I no longer allow them or similar from Lidl in our house. Ill eat them before Keith even consider having one. We have lots of good ice-cream gelato in the house - in pint containers but I really don't want that.
I'm glad no damage to the house. P.S. we have a natural gas grill in on the porch, so if we don't have power - I still can get hot food.
