My rottie tripped me once right in front of the dog park because she was pulling on the leash and excited to see the other dogs. was so mad at her. I wanted to beat her but I don?t do that kind of thing. Ugh, spazzy dogs.

My young boy is going to dislocate my shoulder one of these days. And he knows better when he wants to. I'm scared he'll injure someone. Fortunately, my older boy is perfect on the leash other than occasionally tripping on him because he tries so hard to stay right on me. A friend of mine's stepmother has ripped tendons because of their badly trained puppy. It truly is a concern. Ah, doggos.

Gotta say, the comment 'I wanted to beat her' really hit me as shocking and made me mad

I would never "beat" my dogs (or kids). It was more meant to demonstrate how mad I was because of her misbehavior and causing me to fall. I am aware that her misbehavior has more to do with my poor training of her than her fault. She is really a sweetheart and thinks she is a lap dog. Sorry you were shocked and angry by my poorly written comment.

Oh no, Lisa. I'm happy it wasn't worse. A friend of mine same thing happened to her and she broke her elbow. So weird when dogs are not in their environment and they get excited.
And you know me well, I am capable of doing anything for the cookies.
