Hope you get to chainmaille today, Melody! When do you start working with your new resin stuff?

QOTD - Millebourne, Uno, Crazy 8s, lots of card games. I loved Trivial Pursuit too but people wouldn't play it with me too often. If you are looking for a new game for the family, I highly recommend Telestrations!

enjoying my time with the nephew, niece-in-law and puppers. We ended up at a new Korean food hall (7 or 8 different vendors, you order from a central kiosk one time but can get food from any of them. it was fun and good for sharing).

OOOP, I hear puppy and people movement so better run.

omg I'd totally forgotten about Millebourne! I loved that game! I may still have it in a box in my attic - but not sure. If my mother found it after I moved out, it would have gone in the trash, I'm sure. She's like that...

Thanks! I was able to complete two bracelets so I'm happy!

Hoping to start with the resin later this week. I need to be able to open the window I think and we're supposed to be a lot warmer. I have a couple of molds I'm wanting to try...a skull and a two piece mushroom.

Good morning gang. I thought I had burglars at 1:30 last night, but it was just a crazy lady decorating cookies.

QOTD We played Monopoly a lot, but not a lot of other board games. I played cribbage with my father quite a bit. But mostly playing outside, in the woods, riding bikes everywhere. Until the street lights came on.

Good morning. Busy Saturday start you guys!
My cold is definitely better this morning and my voice has mostly returned. Poor Rog. We are traveling on to a corner of Georgia today but it?s mostly all travel, no fun adventures. Huge thunderstorm here last night which I love. Discovered a rain leak which I didn?t love. We will try to deal with that today.

Accountability was spot on yesterday.

Qotd: Yahtzee for sure, but nothing beat being outside on our bikes until the street lights came on.

Menu today

B. One fresh from the chicken egg and one sausage patty

L. Cauliflower wrap with turkey and cheese

D. As soon as we parked yesterday, I got short ribs in a wine reduction going in the crockpot. Packed it in the fridge last night and did clean up. All I have to do tonight is reheat it.

Peace Everybody.

Good morning ~ Happy kitty, purr, purr, purr. We had a lovely night and now for a couple truly relaxing days. We need to go shopping for clothes for Rob. After working from home for 6 years his wardrobe seriously needs to update. After all the mattress talk yesterday, I was a bit envious! We've had our mattress for about 3 years and it's nice, but way too firm. My hips scream on my sides and I was thinking we needed a new mattress until I read HALAs post about a topper - thank you! I wasted no time researching and ordering one and can't wait to try it out - praying for relief.

QOTD - All the outdoor games in the neighborhood were the best followed by card games, Risk and Monopoly.

Accountability -unplanned quest chips

B- coffee, protein bar

l - corned beef, swiss and pickle roll ups

d- corned beef hash and eggs

s- quest chips, yogurt

Have a wonderful weekend!

The mattress topper really helps. I used to wake up with numbed arm, and found out that Keith was dealing with some issues also. Got the pad and we both sleep great.

I'm planning to get a really firm mattress, flip-able, and get 3" topper for it. Soon.

I'm not a big person, buti often sleep in one position most of the night. 9 years ago we got a mattress with pillow top, and unfortunately not moving around much when I sleep is causing indentation exactly where my butt or hip is. That causes misalignment of my spine and i wake up with pain. Ugh. For now I put a "filler layer" where the butt is, but we really need a new mattress.

I choose an extra firm mattress because we had what you described - a soft pillow top with butt dents! The firm mattress is really holding up well but I wish we had purchased a flippable one like you mentioned. We are able to rotate though since it is a square standard king. A firm mattress with a topper sounds like the perfect combo.
