I hope your neck feels better. The chiropractor has been cracking my neck and I have never had that done before. I find it to be an odd feeling someone tugging at me that much. He has me icing my shoulder and neck 2 x a day for 20 min. You may want to try ice.

Ice helps reduce inflammation and numb pain. Heat relaxes muscles and stiff joints.

The heating pad seemed to help this time, I was lucky.

Good morning, everybody!

I have noticed the tremendous excitement brewing on this board around March Madness. Lots of you trash talking and filling out your brackets. Nothing but college basketball here for the next few weeks, undoubtedly.

I did do a bracket pool, but I admit that I probably couldn't names a single college basketball player in the entire country. Although, I do think there is one guy who is being investigated for murder. Anyways, the tournament starts in earnest today.

Traditionally, we watched the first five days of the tournament (this weekend and next Thursday) fairly regularly , then went on Spring Break and forgot all about the rest of it as soon as we felt the sun. But no spring break this year.

It's day 13. I did miss having a glass of wine during Happy Hour last night. But Whole 30 has been really good for my blood sugar and hopefully I am losing.

Yesterday was one rep max deadlift and it wiped me out. Not even anything sore, just complete exhaustion. Tonight is one rep max back squat.

I am in the office today and there is a happy hour to celebrate the winter interns last day at work. I only met them once and I'm not going to be late for Crossfit tonight because the 7:30 PM class in winter is brutal. So nope.

Lunch today is catered. But if I don't like it or its not on plan, I will go next door and get a salad with eggs and turkey. Or to the Palm for steak.

QOTD: Marilyn and my children first of course. But in the spirit of a more fun answer I will say my GHD machine. I no universe do I want a flimsy core.

Breakfast: Chia pudding

Lunch: Work event

Dinner: Hamburger and sweet potato

Have a great day, all!

Is GHD a glute-ham raise? Have you seen the reverse glute ham raise? They are excellent for low back-glute strength. DH is going to purchase a home model since DS is always complaining about low back discomfort. I thin he doesn't work his abd and low back enough, causing an imbalance in strength between the 2 core body parts.

How did you do on your deadlift? What was your max?
