What's on your Thursday Menu?
My bariatric surgeon will usually do a liver bx if the liver looks fibrotic or cirrhotic. I have had 3 surgeries (initial RNY, internal hernia repair, then gall bladder). The surgeon didn't make any comments about the liver looking like it needed to be biopsied on any of those surgeries. I think it is unlikely that this is the issue with the elevated liver enzymes.

Hope it's not autoimmune!
Glad you're getting scans! I do intend to get another in a few months or a more reliable InBody home scale for tracking. I didn't think finding a DEXA scan would be a unicorn hunt, either!
And boy, would it be nice when hopping universes can improve relationships!

G'morning all!
QJB - take care of those hands and have plenty of rest when you can. I sometimes get a cramp in my hands when I crochet/knit and it looks so weird when h can't move my thumb, but then it passes. I can't imagine how painful your hands are if you can't make a fist.
Bright sunshine-y day around here and I couldn't be happier. I signed up with a couple of friends for a 10K race on Sat. I was starting to worry they might cancel it because half of the course is very close to the ocean and the roads have been iffy. But seems like if we don't get any more rain till Sat it's on. DH also has his friends from high school reunion up in Tahoe. It was touch and go and they kept checking to see if they should cancel it, but that one is a go too, so he leaves early Fri morning. I am so jealous because I wanted to go skiing, but with this amount of snow we've been told they expect we can ski till May.
QOTD: my kids and hubs, I would like them to stay the same.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- TJ kebabs & fage yogurt
- Jello, pp pudding
- Heart of palm rice with chicken bites & veggies
- E: cardio + weight
Happy almost Fri-yay!

Wow! I'm glad your 10k seems to still
be on, how fun will that be. We have one ski resort here that always has the goal of being open for the 4th of July, every once in a while they do (and sometimes even more than 1 run).

I was thinking about your poor sore hands today. I put 'kitchen tools for arthritis' in my browser and came up with tons of web sites with tons of great stuff.
The suggestion of finding a sheeter was an excellent idea and I think that would be the best way to go for your needs.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Thanks yes there are some $1000 electric dough sheeters that are on my list but I think I should probably stop spending every dollar left on cookie stuff before I go back to work! Grim has offered to be my substitute dough sheeter and roll out the dough for a bit in the meantime :)
