That sounds like an awesome place to stay! Fresh eggs are always welcome. We got half a dozen once when staying on a working farm in the Netherlands. Was the highlight of the day!

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

Glad at least one hand is feeling better. Hope the other is back in shape for you tomorrow. Good luck with the mattress shopping. That always stresses me out. I never know if I made the right decision and there are so many different variables that I don't know what features make it quality or if it is just a salesman blowing smoke up my arse.

We are going to look at a rescue dog today. Not sure if he is the perfect match but we need to start looking if we want to find one here sometime soon. I'll run out at lunch and Ron will meet me there. I tell him patients. If all else fails, we'll buy from a breeder but really prefer to do a rescue.

QOTD: I would say my friends. Some family I could do without but the people who I have become friends with and like me for who I am I want to keep them.

Accountability: A few to many dry roasted peanuts

TSS: 5 years 3 month 5 days 162.6 Lowest (129.4)

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings.

Rescue dogs really are the best. Once it clicks for them that they're safe, loved, and have a good life it's so great to see them bloom. Have had my 11 year old rescue boy for over five years now.

Happy Pre-Friday

DD and I went to Dear Evan Hanson, the musical. It was so good. I went in not really knowing what it was about. It was a great story, engaging music and songs, and a strong message. I would recommend it. Today is more work paperwork, etc. I have Everything Everywhere All At Once on my watch list. It was streaming for free on one of the streaming services until it was nominated for an Oscar. I am waiting for it to hit a streaming service for "free" again before I watch it.

I had my GI appt yesterday for the elevated liver enzymes. I guess I did not recall that I had a few lab results with elevated liver enzymes pre-WLS. So these numbers had been elevated in the past but had come down. The PA attributed the prior levels to a fatty liver pre-WLS based on ultrasound. However, post-WLS and weight loss, the fatty liver resolved. The current plan for workup is to draw blood for autoimmune processes, another ultrasound to determine stiffness of the liver, and if all negative or the liver is found to have stiffness a liver bx. The labs have been drawn and await those results and I am waiting for the imaging department to call to schedule the ultrasound.

With all the discussion about body analysis, I decided I was interested in getting this done also. Plus, DH has been on a "dirty" bulk to gain muscle while weight lifting. A "dirty" bulk is getting in plenty of calories (focus on protein, he tries to get 300 grams/day) to support muscle growth knowing that you will have a 1:1 ratio of fat:muscle gain. He is now ready to cut with minimal muscle loss. Interestingly, I live in an area with about 500k in the metro area. You would think it would be easy to find a dexa scan or Bod Pod analysis locally. Nope, not so much. I finally found a place that does bioimpedance body analysis. I looked at the research comparing this to Bod Pod and Dexa, the results were reliable and comparable. I have made an appoint for myself and DS to have this done on 3/29. We will get fat %, muscle %, BMR, and a few other things with the testing. Amazingly it only costs $20 per person. I am excited to see where I am. I will then plan for us to have a follow-up appointment after a few months and after DS has slowly lost some weight from his dirty bulk.

QOTD: My family (DH, DD, and DS) with some improvements in my relationship with DH.
