What's on your Wednesday Menu?
You are so young to be suffering from arthritis. I think Voltaren cream will work like a miracle. You can buy it over the counter. Prescription is probably better. The moist heat will feel great. I bought my first Instant Pot this year at Christmas and used it once for pork and sauerkraut at New Years. Last night I used it to make some beef stew and it came out wonderful. I might do the corned beef in it if I have enough ambition to make corned beef. I grew up in an Irish family and never had corned beef. We had ham and cabbage. My parents said corned beef was invented so the Jewish people could have something for St. Patrick's Day that was not pork. No idea if that is true.

Aren't topical NSAIDs also not recommended post RNY? I know voltaren specifically says not to apply if you have stomach problems including heartburn or if you've had ulcers.

You are right about it being NSAID, Jen. When I woke up one morning with a big lump on my hand and found it is was from arthritis, I compromised and used the Volteren. I have had the same tube for a few years and it is a last resort for me. I hope and pray it is not as bad as taking NSAIDs orally.
