What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Morning Gang! Yesterday was a very fun adventure with Grim. We left at 4:45am and made it through Boston and into Maine in just over an hour and a half (a miracle!). We waited until we were in a more remote interior part of the state around 7:30am to look for breakfast but we never found it. The area we were in was rather poor and depressed and although we saw no fewer than 50 weed shops, we never discovered where people with the munchies go. Literally no restaurants. None! After an hour we finally found a Dunkin. Sad...we were hoping for a cute local diner to stimulate the local economy but nothing exists.
But the wood store was a fun adventure--a humungous warehouse of every kind of wood on earth, and Grim got what he wanted. Then we drove to the camp I went to as a kid, but it was snowed in, so we didn't see much. Then we meandered slowly through Maine & NH on smaller roads to make our way back. We were gone for 12 hours on the dot. It's fun to get out and see new places :) Pics on Friday!
Today is back to the grindstone. Lots to do!
QOTD: Does your whole family struggle with weight or are you an outlier? My mom and I were the two big ones in my family and we have both had surgery. We've both regained a bit but are generally maintaining. No one else in our immediate or extended family had a weight problem, except for an uncle who was very heavy and severely diabetic.
B: Protein Coffee
L: Beef Chili with Red Beans

Good mornin JB and everyone. Glad you had a great getaway! That is odd about restaurants.
Nothing planned for most of the day. My nephew has a school program at 8:30 that we're going to. I'm hoping for a day at home for the rest. I'm still exhausted with no clue how to help it. I'm going to ask my PCP to do bloodwork to see if something is off. My aspiration lately is to be a non-moving bump on a log. If it's not anything with that then I likely know that it's the pain med in the pump making me so tired...which isn't unusual for folks. My eating has been atrocious. I eat thinking it'll help with energy and my brain is thinned out putty. So things that I know don't work the way I'm assuming at the time still happen. It could be worse of course but I need to reign it in.
QOTD: almost everyone in my family is overweight. My mom, brother and me all do. My maternal grandmother was OW and my mom's siblings are all pretty much OW or seriously OW. My maternal grandfather wasn't OW most of his life. He got thinner as he aged and could eat literally anything and stay the same weight. My fathers side of the family are not OW really. From what I know of them...not rail thin but not really OW either.
Food again is unplanned. I might have a yogurt for breakfast with a piece of toast.

Good morning!
What did you get from Dunkin?
QOTD: I was an outlier but my sister has had issues post her kids and my brother has had issues since a mental health episode but I was pretty much an outlier my entire life.
Food today is meatballs, Turkey ground beef, meal replacement shake and I'll work out any snacks
Have a wonderful day!
I ordered two Snackin' Bacons, but a few minutes later they told me they only had one left.
That's right. I ate all the bacon in Maine.

You will be disappointed in me to hear I had to go to the Dunkin' website to see what Snackin' Bacon is.

I had korean fire chicken for breakfast so I bet I am up to your spicy bacon! Whole Foods has a habanero blackberry bacon that can get pretty intense though.

Love spicy food. I was worried I wouldn't be able to have it post RNY but I added some mild spice to my savoury mince dishes and it's totally fine so far.
Restriction plus no spicy food wouldn't be fun for me!
