Thank you, it was 8 weeks though, included pre diet, but I'm happy with it :)

Good morning and happy Tuesday everyone!

Enjoy the adventure and good luck with the traffic!

QOTD - AirTags since I had to check my luggage; came in handy when I had to help them find it at JFK when I switched airlines and to see how quickly the luggage was coming when we got to Ivalo (and again in Denver). Although I met a lady that had 3 AirTags (purse, luggage and I can't remember what the 3rd one was) but she didn't have the named ones in the right things and was just managing to confuse the heck out of herself.

I set my alarm a bit early this morning so I am ahead of the game -- I'll get in my first work out of the day after I finish this post and first cup of coffee, plus I have my trainer tonight. In between I have 11 meetings and about half of them should be fun or interesting. We also start our review and merit cycle today so I'll try to start getting ahead of that.

menu today is

coffee plus half and half x2

PB English muffin

skyr

Korean Fire Chicken left overs

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone

I'm chuffed that you can use the words 11 meetings and fun or interesting in the same sentence. :) You're killing it today!

Did you read that article, I think in NYT, about United airlines having lost this lady's baggage? She had air tags and while UA was saying her bag was at another airport she had seen it at an apartment in a sketchy part of her city. She kept tweeting about it and seeing her bag moving around in the city. Turns out UA was using some third party to deliver the late bags to the clients and that third party was not above board. Moral of the story, always go back to the airport, no matter how far, to pick up the late arrival luggage.

Good morning QJB and menuers,

Ahh, your day trip sounds perfect if you're having my weather! Probably colder for you but I wish you an excellent experience!

QOTD- Edited to change my answer to Tubshroom, especially since I'm still shedding.

Today is my only non-office day this week. I try to skip going in Fridays but there's been a special request, and I have a cleaning that morning, too.

Went searching for covid shots yesterday but the places I checked were out. Feeling just slightly under the weather at the moment to the point where I fell asleep at 6:30 yesterday and slept for over an hour. Phew.

Meetings today, per the norm. Got to get better at multitasking. You'd think by two years in this role I could but it just isn't working. There's so much unique about this that if I use meeting times for administrative things, I won't remember the meeting content. Anyway.

Accountability- Great!

Exercise - maybe not today based on how I feel. Will assess as the day goes. Still have sore thighs from this weekend though.

Menu - sausage and ham red beans, protein pasta and sausage, maybe the ham and broccoli casserole but I struggled with it yesterday. Blueberries and a small mandarin orange.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

CH, I meant to mention that you had a good post on Sunday. I liked your parent's Hostel fears (who hasn't thought that) and your metal implement farming.

Thanks, Jim! I appreciate that my mom cares. It was a big deal to call her every day since 2006 for me meant pre-paid phone cards and finding actual pay phones (remember those?). I also had to have the list of countries beforehand to use the cards, so it was a bit of an adventure when we accidentally ended up in Koln, Germany. She swore the day I missed a call was the day she was on a plane.

Doesn't matter if you're fully an adult and out of the house for years...moms gonna mom, and I love her for it. I learned a lot on that trip and truly expanded my cultural views. Also learned how useless buying maps in the US was for European travel. Small epiphany there.

And yep, good to keep picking up around here!

Good morning, everybody!

JB and Grim, have a great trip today. I used to love driving around NH and Maine when we lived out there.

What is this new thing with people peeing on each other in airplanes? I feel like I made it through the first 50 some odd years of my life without reading about it, but now it seems to happen all the time. Is this a Tiki's Tok trend or something?

I am feeling better today and hoping that the worst of the detox hangover is past me. My hamstrings are sore, but I don't think that is nutrition related. My book says that I will be short tempered for the next three days, but I don't feel that way.

Today I am in the office and that will be a challenge to stay compliant. There is a grocery store next to our office building and I may stock up with a piece of chicken and a salad. Otherwise, I will spend all day grazing on Epic Bars, fruit and nuts.

QOTD: I know this is so 20th century, but my Day Timer Organizer and Uniball pen. I just can't make the e-planners/calendars work for me. As long as they keep publishing it, I will keep buying.

Breakfast: Salmon and melon

Lunch: Salad

Dinner: Pot Roast leftovers

Have a great day, all!
