What's on your Monday Menu?
Good morning, everybody!
Today is Day 3 of Whole 30. I am definitely feeling the Keto Flu (even thought I am eating some carbs) effect as I have been falling asleep between 8:30 and 9:30 and have napped when I got home from the gym.
I have managed to stay on plan so far. The hardest thing has probably been giving up my Bai waters and all of the other artificial sweeteners. I still don't feel organized and spend some time wondering what I can eat that is in the house. Hoping to go shopping today.
23.3 was my best event of the Open. I finished the scaled version in 10:41.
QOTD: Similar to Jen and Aussie, I don't necessarily hold a grudge but won't re-engage either.
Breakfast: Chicken hash
Lunch: Halibut
Dinner: Pot Roast
Have a great day, all!

I looked up what whole 30 was all about. The second I read no dairies I was like nope, you can't take away my yogurt.
Good luck!

Congrats on your results, Jim! And good luck on the detox for Whole 30. I hear the flu thing is generally just a few days, so hopefully you're through the worst of it!

I wish I had a way to warn Danielle. "Run, Danielle, Run!!!"
Seriously, I've heard about several people from a looooong time ago that are still her arch enemies.
I don't hold much of a grudge. I separate from people I don't get along with, and just don't have leftover energy to stay angry. And I'm fortunate to not HAVE to interact with people I don't like.

My ham is almost gone. If I don't get a new ham, I'm afraid my cat, who learned grudge-holding from JB, will eat my eyeballs.

Don't tell the cats but there are more ham like cross section than eyelids! When we had the body worlds exhibition at the museum, the plastinated cross section of the thigh looked exactly like a ham steak. I was always worried one of the teen volunteers would substituted one and see if anyone noticed.

I think I am very well marbled by now.

I remember thinking that we all looked like ham while watching Dexter, lol!

I remember being fascinated by the Bodies exhibit in Atlanta something like 10 years ago. Circulatory system, nervous system...ham steak? And then going to Dialogue In The Dark as they were in the same vicinity.

Good Monday mornin everyone.
my weekend was ok. Friday night I was sick...thinkin it was slight food poisoning. I've also been fighting even more severe fatigue. I don't know if it's the pain med or what but I am just so tired.
our crappy neighbors are moving and now we wait for the next crap to move in. I swear this house can only be occupied by pieces of crap. Back to when my grandparents moved into this house there was a group of severely trashy people. The police were there a minimum of 5 times a week. The stories are insane.
We got up to 80 yesterday! Cray cray.
Today...well not sure what it'll hold. I'm sure my mom has plans. We might go to Walmart as my mom was making a list as I was going to bed.
QOTD: I believe in the power of forgiveness but I do NOT believe in the forget part. Once I'm burned it leaves a scar that's always there. I just can't keep getting hurt by the same person in the same fashion. I can forgive but depending on what happened...if too severe I cut ties. I finally cut some toxic family out a few years ago and it was a relief after I blocked them on FB. I do not miss them and their toxic bull**** People make mistakes...lord knows I have. But if they don't learn from them they'll never learn to be better as they grow older.
B: JUST egg bowl and coffee x2
the rest is unknown.

Mel,
Crossing my fingers that you get good neighbors. You never know!
