Good morning QJB and Menu Friends.

Snow is heading our way... again...8 " over the next 24-36 hours.

Not alot on the agenda this weekend, need to change the Garbage disposal and a light fixture. Joddie is hosting a pampered Chef party next weekend so any other honey do tasks to help prepare. We are taking another trip to VT on Sunday, Trader Joes, Costco and then to LL Flooring, hoping to order the new flooring.

QOTD - We have been watching the Yellowstone series ( completed season 4) , completed 1883 and we are now watching 1923. I don't recall learning how poorly the Native Americans were treated ( edited to add the depth of poor treatment). 1923 has stirred my interest and what I am learning is quite disturbing. If anyone had interest and can offer reading recommendations?

B - Protein Bar

S - 2 good yogurt

l - Tuna salad on Trader Joes Cauliflower thins ( I highlky recommend)

S - Celery and laughing cow

D - Buffalo Shrimp and low fat cottage cheese.

E - 10,000 steps

Have a great weekend and stay healthy my friends, Mike

Edited to add snow shoe pics

Can you spot the deer?

Here's agreat article on one of the most horrible things in Colorado history (the other one is the Ludlow Massacre). I would also say Killers of the Flower Moon is a good one about more recent situations. And Empire of the Summer Moon. Dee Brown not Dan Brown for Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee -- would be interesting to see what kind of pseudo history conspiracy he came up with though!

I loved Killers of the Flower Moon - although definitely very disturbing. Aren't they making this into a film? I think I read that somewhere...

Yes, Scorsese and Di Caprio. It's been done filming for a while and they've moved the release date twice which is usually not a great sign

The Other Slavery: The uncovered story of Indian enslavement in America

I second Jim's suggestion. There is a ton of stuff that pertains to certain areas.
