What's on your Thursday Menu?
Mike, I was gonna suggest to JB to start a detox camp for people like you and me. We go working for her hoping that in 3 months or so we won't like cookies any more. Do you think that would work?

They always used to talk about Aversion Therapy. Make someone smoke nonstop until they'd never want another. I don't think it works with tobacco.
Hershey used to be troubled by workers pilfering chocolate. They finally just put some out and said "eat all you want, free." They ended up using a lot less.

yea - I've heard that about people who work at ice cream places too. Some places let the employees have unlimited ice cream for free. The binge doesn't last too long...
and no, it doesn't work with tobacco. I used to be a chain smoker. If I could have lit them up one after the other, I would have. But life and jobs interfered with that (I quit 24 years ago, but I still occasionally have dreams where I'm smoking. Very weird....)
There is a Ben and Jerrys in St Albans Vt, ( 30 min from where I live) , I believe employees are able to take home 6 pints a week!

Congrats on your awesome loss!
In HS when I worked at a candy store, the smell of chocolate made me gag. Same with McDonalds. Sadly, cookies took a lot longer to resist, and they definitely don't make me want to gag or anything, but they just don't seem like an exciting treat. So yeah--that's a strategy!

G'morning all!
QJB - cookies are joy, I will never be tired of them.
Busy day, because in addition to work and my things to do, gotta take Luna to an orthopedic specialist. At her last yearly checkup her back leg was sensitive, I thought it was due to her long run the day before. They did some X-rays and referred us to orthopedic who will see us today. I was laughing because Luna got to see the ortho specialist much sooner than I did. In the mean time because of the anti-inflammatory they have given for her I don't see her having problems with her back leg. We shall see what the Dr says.
QOTD: nothing earth shattering. Saw a camel coat on a celebrity and looked it up to see 1) can I get it 2)how much is it.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Costco chicken skewers
- Jello, PP pudding, epic chicken
- Sauté shrimp veggies
- E: 5 miles wog(sun was out, although very cold, so I figured I take advantage of the outdoors)
Happy jr Fri-yay!
