Three weeks tomorrow, yep!
I may have wrenched something at the end of that first week. I think it's related to the dent/suture line they placed funny based on the conversation we had at my follow up. She did release me for exercise and lifting but told me to be careful since I said it still felt...off.
Either way, I can do stuff...just going to be careful for longer. I haven't taken any pain meds since I just try to work with what my body signals.
I did have a lot of pain by the end of Monday after travel and a whole conference day carrying a backpack. I've been having some inexplicable pain along my rib line on the right side. They told me everything looked okay last week, though.

Good morning, everybody!
I am off to a slow start in my goals to do 5,000 GHD sit-ups and 5,000 kip swings this year. Through the end of February, I have 300 GHD and 200 Kip swings. I still feel pretty good about making my goal, though.
On the GHD, you have to build up capacity to do a lot of them and I am able to do 40 or so a day without any lingering soreness. Once I get to 50, I can knock out the goal in 100 days, so still plenty of time.
The other factor is weather - getting through winter will allow me to do both in my garage gym at my leisure. Hoping to hit 500 or so of both in March, weather permitting.
23.3 will be announced at noon PST. Most likely, I will do it tomorrow afternoon. I am in about 3,500th place of the 5,000 in my 50-59 male age group.
Happy Hour was nice, a couple of glasses of Vueve and Birthday wishes for the Senior.
QOTD: I am not sure if it was on Yahoo or Google, but it was the title of the latest Jack Carr book.
Breakfast: Egg sandwich
Lunch: Pizza
Dinner: fish
Have a great day, all!

Mornin' All!
I spent about five hours yesterday at my late friend's condo helping his sister go through things. Oddly enough, it was kind of fun, since I learned things about him that I didn't know before. I think the guy kept every letter he ever received (one of my "duties" was going through the boxes of letters and pitching those his sister didn't want (which was about 99% of them). I actually found three cards that I'd sent him over 30 years ago. Of course I kept those. He also had a couple of photos of me that he'd taken - I kept those as well. I also ran into report cards (even from kindergarten), his draft registration, papers he wrote in college 50 years ago. Sheesh - he's way worse than me! A couple other of his friends will be there today and tomorrow, so she won't need me there. But I told her I'm free this weekend if she's still plugging away at all this by then.
today through Saturday I'll be watching livestreamed programs and recorded videos as part of the RootsTech 2023 conference in Salt Lake City. It was free to be a virtual attendee (and only $89 to attend in person, but that would mean traveling out to Utah - so, no (nothing wrong with Utah - I just didn't want to be there in person since I can watch a lot of it online - plus there's the time and money factor..)). Anyway, it's a genealogy conference. Tons of programs. This is going to be great!
QOTD: just now got off google! I was searching for B&Bs and short-term rental apts in Copenhagen and Lund & Almhult (Sweden), since i may be going there this summer. I have a 4th cousin whom I met at the family reunion in Edinburgh last summer who owns an apt in Stockholm that he and his wife (who is Swedish) don't use that much anymore since they've been living primarily in their vacation cottage since they retired. He told me to let him know whenever I'm in Stockholm, because i can stay in their apt if they're not using it at that time. So I'll probably go there, too (even if they happen to be there - I can find lodging there as well if their apt is not available - but being able to stay in their apt would be fantastic!)
B: cottage cheese and kiwi, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: hummus sandwich (on 35-calorie bread with tomatoes, bell pepper, and cucumbers). Maybe a L&F yogurt, too
AS: protein muffin or protein bar
D: maybe pulled pork?
have a great day, everyone!

That's so much documented history! I can't imagine having room for things all the way back to grade school. Wow. But maybe a nice visit down memory lane to surface things that far back.
Hope you get to go to Sweden! Beautiful place to visit, especially if you can get out of the city a bit.

my maternal grandfather's parents were from Halland county, on the west coast - there are mostly tiny farming communities around there, so I'll be out of cities at least while I'm in that area! As for Almhult, I'm not sure how big that is. My other grandfather's parents were from there (there's a family gathering there that week - that's why I'm thinking of going. Might as well meet the relatives!) (just googled it - Almhult is small - only 8,950 people. Oddly, it's also the headquarters of IKEA - weird they'd set up shop in some small town like that...)

Sounds like some variety! Small town Scandinavia is fun. Would recommend, even with European driving rules.

Good morning ~ Enjoy Cocaine bear! I want to see it also. I had a lovely day yesterday and got all my FEB reports done already. They used to take me 2 weeks, now with some planning, I got them all done in one day. I didn't submit them yet because I'm worried I'm it's too good to be true, lol. I will review again today a send them off. I have my 2 hours pre op NUT class this morning - via zoom that I am doing it from my office. Otherwise, I'll prep for my later in the month reports and catch up on minutiae that need attention.
QOTD - Yeti 20 oz coffee tumblers - yup. I basically collect them and have a rainbow collection now. Still, I am always out of them - they are in Robs car or in the dishwasher or at my work so I ordered a couple more - Alpine yellow and Nordic blue.
Accountability - great
b- coffee, HB eggs
l - chicken and mexican cauli rice w/salsa
d -chicken tacos in 25 cal corn tortillas
s- jello w/whip
e - yoga, stretch
Have a wonderful day.

Someone in my family has a strategy of knocking out their work super fast and then working on learning and growth. They stagger delivery of the product a bit for this time. Guess their predecessors never got much work done, so the bosses don't have high expectations. Gives them more time to learn in role.
Congrats on the efficiencies you've created! That's so fast compared to weeks, so hopefully not too good to be true.

Definitely loving where I am with things right now. I was thinking I need to hold the reports for longer, lol! I don't want a new expectations to come of this efficiency. I want to maintain flexibility for travel and time off.
