Glad you survived your gym event! Purple doesn't sound like a fun result. And wow, Guns N Roses was one of the first cassette tapes I owned a very long time ago. Didn't know they were still touring!

Hooray for the last week of accounting. So glad it is done. I see you gearing up for holiday cookie baking. I am actually putting together a list of stuff I need to start making ravioli for Easter. I need to get those done and, in the freezer, sometime soon. After that I will need to put together a couple of Strawberry Cheesecakes. Then I will get meatballs done. The sauce is done since I made it last fall from all my garden tomatoes.
We applied at the Bulldog rescue to see if we can get a dog. We also found a breeder who will know if she has a litter in about four weeks, so the Hunt is on. If we get a puppy and it is male, we will name him Rudy Vega, and if it is female, we will name her Winnie Vega. Run the names together and tell me what you think.
QOTD: I can sing a mean version of God Bless America after sucking on a helium balloon. My answer is I don't care if I had enough drinks, I would sing for anyone.

Good morning from Benson, AZ. On to Las Cruces, NM today.
Yesterday was travel and rest. We are finding all these little camping places and this one has a hike up the mountain I really wanted to do. But it's been raining/snowing here and they warned us that the red dirt was like quicksand and would get all up in the boys paws so I had to pass. That and the 30 degree weather. Spent the entire day eating leftovers and hope to finish them off for breakfast. Tonight I will have to actually cook dinner.
I've started my day with a yoga and weights workout. Yay! First workout since last Tuesday. Time and weather has not been my friend so far. But I'm still trying. We have about three hours of travel time and then will do some tourist type thing in Las Cruces before dinner.
QoTD. I sing all the time, but no one should really be put through that. Friend or enemy.

Mornin' All!
I'm a bit stiff and sore this morning because I spent an hour on the elliptical yesterday and then took a very long walk with my husband. Unfortunately, it didn't make up for the splurges I've had the last few days (Thursday evening at the event for my friend who died, potluck on Saturday, and devouring an entire pint of Halo Top last night because I felt entitled to it since I exercised so much). Feeling like a blob this morning - so it's back to it this week! I'm sure I've gained half a pound, and I'm supposed to be LOSING weight!
I got up too late this morning to make the early water aerobics class, so I may go to the 1:00 Aqua Zumba class instead (which I like better anyway, but it's a little rush-rush since I have class this afternoon -- but I should be able to manage this). It's raining outside so no outdoor activities. At least it's not snow - the northern half of the state is supposed to get dumped on with snow again today. Hopefully our heavy rain here "down south" will wash the rest of ours (from a couple of days ago) away!
QOTD: I have a terrible singing voice, so friends for sure. They're less likely to pelt me with rotten tomatoes!
