I?m glad your visitation went well. I firmly believe that people having fun and laughing at your rememberance/wake/what-have-you is the best sign of a life well lived. Sounds like your friend was a good human and created joy in the world!

Good Morning! Happy Fri-yay! JB- I'm lacking motivation today and really wanted to sleep it and it's rainy and windy. I couldn't eat those butterfly cookies, too pretty. Also the shamrock shake is a cute one! Tomorrow I'm supposed to meet a friend for lunch if he can make it over the grapevine today but not much else aside from the usual.

QOTD: I can't think of one, maybe one where they would re-do our backyard and give me a pool? Speaking of which, we toss around the idea of a swim/spa or hot tub every once in awhile but then realize how many we see on the side of the road when they do the semi annual curbside junk removal.

TSS: 8 years 5 months

B: SF latte, Fiber/protein oatmeal, turkey sausage, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, light and fit yogurt and some fruit

S: P3 pack, a piece of fruit and yogurt

D: TBD

ES: Greek yogurt

E: PT at home and a slow walk on the treadmill this morning (my "good" calf muscle tightened up on me this morning again a few mins into my jog)

V/W: On track

Totals: TBD

Have a great one!

Is it cold Kelly?, it looked like the mountains East of you are getting snow.

I am trying to remember the show where they meet you at Home Depot and come home and renovate your house or landscaping?

It's 43 degrees right now and raining here but snow is expected in the higher elevations most of the weekend.

I love the pool. I would have one at my house if my mom did not insist, I open hers every year. She is less than 5 miles away I can't see taking care of 2 pools. We do have the hot tub in the back yard. I only use it occasionally after exercise on the weekend. Ron uses it every day. I don't think either are a bad investment if you use them like we do.

Good morning, everybody!

23.2. Yikes!

RX is 15 minutes of 5 Burpee pull-ups and 10 50 foot shuttle sprints. Every Round increases the Burpee pull-ups by 5 reps. Immediately after the 15 minutes are up, I have 5 minutes to find a 1 rep. max thruster.

Scaled is exactly the same, except there is no pull-up part, just burpees in increasing quantities.

If I was just doing it in class, I would pick RX put up a score and be done with it. Since I am doing it in front of the whole gym, I may do scaled so that I can keep moving for the whole 15 minutes. I don't think that I want to spend much time staring up at the bar, waiting for divine intervention and listening to the shouted encouragement of my peers.

I either case, the running is a chance to rest in preparation for the next round of exercise. Thruster, I could probably do 155 fresh, so will aim for at least 135 by the end of the 5 minutes.

Other than that, I have to change a light fixture in my closet, go to Barnes & Noble and update my phone. Some work stuff today.

Wednesday, I got a Nespresso pod, put it in the machine, pushed the button, went to the fridge to get half and half and then realized I forgot a cup. Well, this morning, I realized that the little tray that holds my cup was not a sophisticated self-cleaning filtration system but merely a piece of plastic. So I took it off and washed it before Wednesday's coffee fermented into Kahlua. I guess that I did not reattach it correctly because today's coffee spilled as well.

QOTD: A lot of the reality shows that I watch involve either a) living in Alaska, usually in substandard conditions, b) working under extreme conditions or c) murders, so I think that I would like to avoid those, if possible. I did watch an automotive restoration show where Amber Heard purchased and restored a Mustang for Johnny Depp. Apparently that did not age well.

Breakfast: Egg sandwich

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Fish

Have a great day, all!

23.2 sounds hard. Can you do pullups? Those have always been a challenge for me. I still cant do them. Good luck on the workout.
