Sheila, we should team up if there is ever an apocalypse. You would never, ever have to worry about me eating any of your food.

LOL. Done deal. I wouldn't touch your bacon. As long as you promise not to bake bread (the way you were doing during the pandemic) and JB would stop baking her cookies because I have no idea how to keep my hands off sweets.

I reserve the right to slip in and out of a salty mood. Today I am choosing sweet but...

Hope you get power back soon. Is it just winds or rain, too? You don't need more weather drama this year!

Good morning from Lake Havasu. We have a lake side camp spot and the little town is adorable. Tiny, but adorable. Huge storm last night with all the elements and black dog was so scared he was like a toddler pushed in between Rog and I. Still super windy, but I have things to see and do today. I need to walk over the London Bridge, which was shipped here from London and get a post card to send off to the grands. We had planned to do the big biking path, but I might get blown off the bike. So that might have to be a pass.

I did excellent on my food choices yesterday. Love that I can prepare the things I need in the rig. We are going to dinner with a friend tonight so I'll be extra careful during the day.

Whilst Australia isn't devoid of great food options, I do get jealous at some of the options Americans have at their stores etc!

Guess when you have a potential market of 300 million plus v 26 million plus them the breaks as they say!

I did order some walden farm sauces etc and quest protein chips from IHERB though, was pretty cheap to get them to Aus, excited for those to arrive! (although the Chips are a long way from being eaten haha)

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday all,

The s*** just keeps on piling on. My car is currently being held Ransom at an AAA approved repair shop in Arlington Heights. They would not release the car last night without fees being paid. Immediately spoke with the owner who agreed to waive fees sinceI was not advised about any fees, only requested a quote, and specifically asked for no repairs or work but done before approval. AAA still couldn't pick it up last night. Back at it this morning. Just passed by on the way to hospital and the owner isn't there to release vehicle to tow truck driver.

With good news, my father is moving in a stable direction. He has had two surgeries over the last 2 days. Both surgeries were successful with no complications. However he did pull his breathing tube out Monday night but it was a miracle there was not any real damage done.

Ready for another day tackling life and challenges. Hope everyone is having a good week.
