They did it because the lines to renew in person were endless. At first it was 7 years, with in person renewal and picture every other time. Then changed it to 5 years, with in person renewal and picture every third time.

Thanks, Maybe I am settling in, I like how that sounds. I won't try to gain weight/fat at this point. I appreciate everyone chiming in, we will see if this is me achieving the low weight for all of 30 seconds.

You have done great to get your weight down. As Trish points out, most of us bounce naturally so you probably don't need to worry about getting and staying too thin. I would recommend focusing on getting stronger and fitter (in a way that is realistic to your physical abilities). A side effect of that will probably be a bit more appetite and a few more pounds.

Thanks. I need to get back to weight training now that I am feeling better, more muscle would be welcome. You are right, trying to gain is not a good idea. Others are more uncomfortable with my weight than myself. I am still in the normal bmi range.

I'm learning that a lot of the people who are uncomfortable with it in my sphere are the ones who have known me the longest at the highest weights. They don't seem to be able to reconcile the difference, somehow.

And I'm wondering if you lost like I have. Everything has melted from my face and shoulders so there's a bit of a gaunt appearance that others here have said will balance out in a bit. Like, you can see my ribs below my collar bones if I stretch but still have a BMI above 25.

All of that to say...I know you'll find the balance for you. Sounds like you're doing great!

My face is much thinner, but I think it is the deep smile lines around the mouth that give me a gaunt look. My collar bones are prominent and you can see my ribs, but it's not glaring. I have totally lost my backside, which surprised me, but didn't I hear that Is common? My husband is one that thinks I am a little thin, not that he thinks I should try to gain. My sister and cousins say the same. Others that think I am too skinny are mostly those that would like to lose weight too, and would maybe consider bariatric surgery for themselves.

I was surprised by the 5 pound drop as I thought I had stabilized. Guess not, but I will keep eating as I have been. BMI is 21.

Good morning ~ Glad you found a venue closer to you that will work. Awesome attitude about the party - make the best of it and get your money's worth! Yesterday I ended up going to the hospital to have my EKG so I could get it over with for my approval. Otherwise I just have a NUT appt, a NUT class and a pro-op with the Dr. before surgery. Outside of that - I have a colonoscopy Friday and a replacement crown next week. Then the all the follow ups. It seems like the appts will never end. When all is said and done, I will have had the ultimate head to toe 'works' and then some. Work today is getting a project finalized and a couple little meetings. On a great note - I think the hormones are helping!

QOTD - Work is PC, laptop at home (work issue) is also PC. I'm apple phone, watch and ipad.

Accountability - popcorn for lunch

b- Coffee, eggwich

l - chicken+ dill pickle chopped salad

d -omelet

s- jerky

Have a great day!
