Good morning, everybody!

QJB, you are a good daughter to basically pay for your parent's wedding. I think that at this point, having as much fun as possible is the right attitude.

Going Concern is an accounting industry blog and they had a post about someone who got Debit and Credit tattooed on their hands. I thought of JB when I saw it. Probably wait until after the semester is over though.

DD is at the furious wedding stage, it seems like she has one every month. She was telling me that she has two separate sets of friends who are operating on the visas that they use on 90 Day Fiancee. They didn't try out for the show, however.

We found a cabin to stay at for the fly rod building class. It looks really pretty, on a river in Northern Georgia. Lots of wood, fireplaces and stone. There is a screen porch and an outside covered patio with a kitchen and fireplace.

Yesterday we were texting around different cabins and this one seemed to be the winner, so we booked it. We decided to stay a little longer than the class in order to practice with our new gear.

This morning, I have to lift. Tomorrow is a rest day, which I need because everything is kind of sore right now. Work was super slow yesterday (could explain the cabin search), but I have a number of calls today. Happy Hour is iffy for tonight.

QOTD: Mac at home and PC at work (including work from home). I actually don't see much of a difference between the two, although I do not do creative work. iPhone and IPAD.

Breakfast: Egg sandwich

Lunch: Stuffed Peppers

Dinner: TBD

Happy Hour?

Have a great day, all!

Haha, yesterday my parents told me how much they spent on their original small 1973 wedding and we adjusted for today's money, and I will be spending literally 3 times as much for this one than their first. But I guess after 50 years you deserve a big bash... I'm not paying for a second honeymoon though!

Do those tattoos come in Chinese symbols? It would make just as much sense to me, so why not, haha.

I'll bet they ended up paying more for their first honeymoon than they bargained for . . .

It still floors me that they're expecting you to foot the bill for that. That's just insane. As far as weddings, we had the cheapest one imaginable. We did it at the court house. $50 to the judge. My friend who died the other day was our "wedding" photographer, and he took us out to lunch afterward to a Chinese restaurant. It was perfect.

I'm really surprised that your mom put a burden of their bash celebration on you, knowing that you are going to school and don't have a "regular job". I personally would have a huge problem with that, asking someone to fork over time and money to do that. But... you are committed to that now... so .. give your best. HUGS.

P>S> You would have to make a lot of cookies.... I hope they don expect you to give the guests bags with cookies upon leaving.

Jim, we rented a very picturesque cabin a few years ago while taking a carving class in Maine.

I'm no longer allowed to book accomodations.

Are banned because you went over budget, or was it more rustic than JB was prepared for?
