QJB-Did you and your mom agree on a budget for what you're willing to spend on the wedding anniversary party with you being an unemployed student? Also, I agree on the accounting should have lectures and examples of how to balance the accounting sheets. I had the same problem with accounting in college in that I couldn't understand how to correctly enter the data. This was in undergraduate accounting 101! So, I would really be lost in a graduate level class. It was in this class I realized I couldn't be a business major. I dropped all my business classes and decided to become a nurse instead.

Today, I am in the office. I woke up at 4 am, instead of lying in bed I decided to get up and get moving. Yesterday, I did not get my weightlifting in because my little goldendoodle had been limping for several day, I took him to the vet and had to pick him up around the time I would have been at the gym, before Inferno Pilates. It's all about timing to get the weights done before Pilates/yoga. It actually turned out good since the Pilates class was with weights and bands, and it was a killer arm workout. The vet didn't find anything wrong with my dog, maybe a soft tissue injury and prescribed an anti-inflammatory.

Also today, I have my follow-up mammogram. If your recall 6 months ago on my annual, they found calcifications on the right breast which we tried to biopsy but due to the small size of the scattered calcifications they were not able to get a sample. Therefore, surveillance in 6 months was recommended. So, this is a follow-up mammogram on just the right side with the calcifications to see if there are any changes in size. I am trying to see if I can get my weights in before my yoga class this evening, but it depends on how long the mammogram appt (with or without ultrasound depending on findings) is.

Last week I had my annual labs drawn and my liver enzymes are still slightly elevated above normal. Not really sure why. I don't drink alcohol on the regular or take Tylenol (very rare maybe 1 every couple of months). No other medications or supplements that would increase them. I will ask to be sent to GI for a work-up when I see the bariatric team in March. I am also going to start a liver support supplement. Milk Thistle (among other herbs) has been shown to help detox the liver. I am almost 2 years post-WLS! Wow, time has flown by. Anyone else continue to have elevated liver enzymes?

I think it took about 18 months for mine to go down....but that's probably pretty normal.

Mine have been elevated since my gallbladder issues in 2000 but they spiked for about 3 years after surgery before dropping to the lower end of the elevated range.
