They did order it, but told me to go through my PCP or would have to go to the hospital. What other option do I have?

Our pup has a partial collapsed trachea and is on meds because he is too old for surgery so we are managing his comfort. He is usually fine - just occasional coughing but he was up all night struggling so I imagine he is getting worse. I don't know what else they can do, but it's heart wrenching.

So sorry about the PUP. I've been looking at English Bulldogs I found one for $3500 so not bad, but I still don't know if I want that commitment yet. I guess if it was meant to be he will come to me. Good luck with all your Pre-op appointments hope it goes smooth.

Good morning, QJB and folks! Hello from overcast Philadelphia. We had a lovely dinner with friends (I had a side Caesar salad and half a turkey burger) and I was up at 4 am, inexplicably. I brought my mom to the hospital for her surgery and today I am running errands. Funny to run errands in another city but next week it's back to 50+ hour work weeks so today I'll go to the post office, the art supply store, macys to look at luggage, and most exciting, my Botox appointment lol

QOTD: I probably should track. I would guess around 60. I've always had good labs when it comes to protein. God knows I've had a zillion blood draws over the past month.

B: half a tuna salad sandwich from the deli in Reading Terminal Market. I also bought a chunk of taleggio cheese from the cheesemonger. For later

L: TBD but with the market across the street I can get literally anything in the world! Indian, Malaysian, Turkish, deli, cheesesteaks...it's amazing

D: I may meet a friend but if she can't make it (her husband is a tax preparer and sometimes works late) then I may get some takeout from around here or see what options are at the Trader Joe's a few blocks away.

E: walking around the city for my errands! God I'm good at spending money. Le sigh...

Somehow my brain read Phillipines instead of Philadelphia and I was excited for you! Though Philadelphia did have good pierogi.

Hoping your transition back to work allows enough flexibility for you! That's a hard run at 50 hours immediately after what you've been through!

Good Morning queen JB and Menuers

Sorry accounting got your goat but 1 more week and it's over. Hopefully no more accounting to get through the program.

Jim, you jinxed me yesterday. I believed it was going to be slow and I never stopped all day. I even had to stay about 1/2 hour longer to take care of a backorder that a customer needed today. I also have a Fed-Ex driver that is dropping packages at the correct apartment complex but not the correct apartment. Think it would be an easy fix just go get the package. No, they were delivered on Friday and the recipients have decided to take them in their home and go to work. So, my patients are without their supplies. It was a ruff Monday.

Well happy Fat Tuesday. I did blood work this morning, so I stopped by the grocery to pick up Paczki for the office. I promise I will not eat one. If there are any leftover, I will save them for DH as a nice surprise.

QOTD: No idea I very rarely do my macros.

Accountability: Corn nuts.

TSS: 5 years 2 month 10 days 161.2 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Twix Coffee Mate

MS: Premier Cafe Latte protein and berries.

D: Fajita inners

Exercise: Not yet

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use Miralax and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings.

Chrissy

Morning folks. I've got the day off from painting, but I have to run in a minute to get a long overdue haircut. I think I was starting to scare small children. I'm told it looks like Albert Einstein hair.

G'morning all!

LOL. I have a t shirt that I use only during one race (She is beautiful) because they are mostly women, and it says "does this tshirt make my butt look fast?"

QJB - hopefully you guys can bring the catering price down. Good luck on that meeting.

I really enjoyed the extra day of weekend. We should have three day weekends on a regular basis. DH wanted to checkout few EVs at the dealerships. He looked so silly going around with his measuring tape; his main criteria is that his surf board(s) need to fit in the car. One sales person asked if he was measuring to see how many bodies/caskets he can fit in. His favorite so far is the Ioniq 5. I didn't know but Ford has a Mustang that is EV, unfortunately too short for what DH needs. As a reward, after all the dealerships we stopped at the Container store (my Disneyland). Have you guys read the children book "if you give a mouse a cookie"? I'm like that at the container store, running from one section to another and changing my mind about what I want/need, or get one piece and then it's like dominos in my head because I need to rearrange everything. Anyway, fun fun fun for me.

QOTD: 80-90 average. Some days I hit 120.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Epic chicken + protein puffs
  • protein pudding
  • KungPao chicken, no nuts or rice for me.
  • E: cardio + weight

Happy Taco Tue!
