What's on your Monday Menu?
Hugs and best wishes to you.
Why cant you drink in a hospital room? how about a hospital hallway? Is that because it's a special place? I know that the very few times I had to be in a hospital, the person who got me there and had to stay with me in a waiting room could get any free coffee or tea.
I would think that if you stay in your dad hospital room a long time, you could ask for an exemption to drink some plain water. Maybe you can ask them?

Thanks for your support and well wishes. My father is in the critical care unit. There's no drinking or eating anywhere on the floor including the waiting room. That being said, a nurse did bring me a cup of water last week. I instantly took a sip without thinking. It was so torturous seeing my Dad notice that I was drinking. My Dad hasn't been able to drink or eat for 11 days now.

I'm so glad you have family to help with support...it can really mean a lot. I also think you've handled the stress of everything extremely well.

Good morning! Home from work out class and showered and getting ready to load the last of ALLLLLL the stuff in the rig. I think I loaded 2/3rds of my closet. Rog was like "They have laundromats you know...." PFFFFFT to him I say. You gave me a space and I filled it. We had a great weekend and I stayed on track for food. I did add a glass of wine yesterday evening.
We are leaving in about 5 hours. Our first destination is Yuma, AZ for a quick overnighter. Should be set up before 6. I am excited and also feeling dread about leaving my kids, the grands, our neighbors. All the feels today.
QoTD: Trader Joe's, where I will be going in a few minutes, Vons for regular stuff and Costco for the special Costco only stuff.
Menu
B: another chicken thigh from Costco. They were only 4.99 for an eight pack, leg/thigh combo and one's a full meal for me.
L: Not sure yet
D: thinking I will get burgers to grill in AZ and a salad
Peace Everybody!
