Good morning ~ That meme was me in my pre surgery Ben and Jerry days. All of the sudden it was gone and I wouldn't remember eating the entire thing! YOU is so good!!! Enjoy!! I slept so well last night and didn't want to get up this morning Such a nice weekend! Yesterday was a fun day at the arcade w/kiddo. Rob kicked my ass at Galaga which never happens - it's my game. They have so many 80's games and pinball there it's great, but I wish they would get Frogger and Tempest. Today I am off. It's grocery shopping, laundry and tidying up. Maybe a nap and DVR shows too.

QOTD - Trader Joes is my #1, The regular grocery store is Albertsons for what I can't get at TJ's. I go to Costco for paper products and coffee every few months. I usually pick up egg bites and chicken skewers/bites there too.

Accountability - I ended up ordering a salad at Red Robin - it was HUGE, big enough to feed a family of 4. I barely made a dent but I'm sure it was at least 400-500 calories with the ranch dressing. Not worth it at all. And a few fries

B- coffee, eggs w/salsa

l - leftover chicken

d- leftover chicken

s- tomatoes

e - yoga

Have a great day!

Centipede was one of my favorites I also liked Tempest. Don't know how I would do today; it has been so long. Glad you enjoyed your weekend.

Rob loves Centipede and is still soooo good at it! I'm horrible but I'm willing to go back again to improve my skills back to 80's days! I was a Donkey Kong failure also, I couldn't get past the first screen.

I love salads but the calories can definitely get out of control. Especially adding cheese and dressing. I prefer to eat at home so I can control calories.

I had good weekend. A little sick, a little tired, and started feeling better on Sunday.

Saturday my gut was still unhappy, but I treated is rather ok, finishing the day with a stake dinner and 3 (unfortunately 3) shots of makers mark at the comedy dinner theater.

We got home after, and I simply passed out in the car and then at home, brushed my teeth, washed my face, changed into pajamas and slept well. I woke upon Sunday with no hangover and ok gut. That doest help me to stop drinking alcohol. Ugh.

On Sunday I just ate some cheese, apples and then dinner pork, spinach and pickles.

I decided not to restock my stash of whisky, or bourbon. Ugh. I do good, then my gut starts hurting and I back to drinking. In my defense- my gut pain can be really really bad. Breathtaking bad. I take meds for it, it eases up, then I wake up screaming again a few hours later. Ugh. I really hate that aspect of life post op RNY. Keithhates when I'm drinking but I think he hates more when I'm screaming in pain, or try to talk to him when I'm in pain (I often can only mumble words).

Ok. That's is over. It only lasted 3-4 days, so hopefully it's resolved for now.

Besides that I'm still rather tired. Not as badly as a few weeks ago, but still.

QOTD: Costco and Publix. These 2 are my fav.

I think my body finally decided to get rid of some extra fat. I'll know in a few days. I've been at 172-173 for weeks now. I would like to 160's on a regular basis. I know I'll get there. Even while on steroids.

I'll need to have a few more doctor visits soon. Ugh. And a few more things to take care off. That's life, I guess.

Food:

Coffees, teas, same ....repeat until I had at least 80 oz of liquids (I'm at 60z now - coffee with "stuff")

L: not sure, either more liquids, or try to eat something. But ...i think while im at work, i may lose my appetite. But I have nice frittata imade and portioned for just reheat. I do that instead of making egg bites.

D: I've got pork, spinach with feta and pickles. Or frittata. Or some other stuff if I go to Costco today.

I would like to buy egg bites, but any that are available have stuff I no longer eat, shouldn't eat. So for now, it is what it is, I make my own. Its easier for me to make egg bake, frittata, then portion and keep in containers.

This is kinda nasty - so read if you are not very sensitive or want motivation to not eat for a few hours.

I has physical on Thursday and... I testing showed antibodies to hep A.

Somehow somewhere I got hep A. When? How ? I don't know. The information about hep A antibodies is misleading.some sources states they can last over a year, others mentions few months only. But vaccination can give immunity for a few years. I don't remember getting vaccination.

It's a viral infection, easily spread, that it's supposed to clear on its own. Its mostly spreadby eating contaminated food, or using contaminated utensils. It spreads through poop and saliva. Great, no?

We have been traveling last year, Keith has been to Mexico, and...recently, at my work place, we have added a bunch of people to our building. Some of them used or have used drugs in the past, some of them most likely still used (we suspected, their contract was terminated early), and they use common break area, and our bathrooms. Some are ...just nasty the way they don't clean after themselves after using the bathroom. I can't even mention the floors in the common bathrooms. Seriously. Ugh. We put signs on the bathroom doors in the office area "for office personnel only", but the bathroom in manufacturing gets so nasty, that some women still use the office bathroom. We had to train them how to maintain cleanness after themselves. Seriously. How to use the toilet brush, how to change paper, etc. We have cameras in the hallway so we can always check who left a mess. Nasty stuff.

Now I would only be using the bathroom by the bedroom (I have a private - owners space in the building). I'll have to wash my utensils and plates before I use them. We have a dishwasher in the kitchen/break room, but some people just rinse the utensils and plates so I'm not sure what can be on them. Ugh. One more thing to be concerned with.

O well. It is what it is. Right? BTW: I know that I have not been with anyone except Keith, and I trust Keith. It's just all the other stuff.

Something else to worry about it. Ugh.

Hep A comes from contaminated food or water. Hep B comes from sex (or through dirty hypodermic needles) - so it never crossed my mind that you cheated on Keith!

I've had vaccines for both. We got them before we went to Southeast Asia several years ago. Hep A was recommended because people have gotten it from food there...esp street food. Hep B wasn't necessarily recommended, but we got those too - not because we planned to have sex with people while we were there, but because I was afraid if something happened and we had to go to a clinic or hospital, I wanted to be protected in case they didn't use sterile needles (maybe they do - but I don't know and I didn't want to take the chance!)

back when we had those vaccines (maybe 15 or 20 years ago?), we were told one lasted a lifetime and the other lasted about 10 years, but I can't remember which was which. But then I read recently that both will last a lifetime. Not sure if they've improved it, or if they just figured out the effects of the vaccine last longer than they originally thought.

Good morning all and Happy Monday,

Great meme. I restarted a bad habit. I have been taking a string cheese into my bed at night while I listen to the 24 hours a day audiobook. I wake up next to an empty string cheese wrapper with no memory of eating it. It's not the best feeling to wake up with.

For those that have the day off, hope you take full advantage. Who here can recite the presidents in chronological order? I can't let alone name more than 30.

Today is my father's surgery to put in a peg - feeding tube. My brother landed late last night. I'm really looking forward to seeing him despite the reason. It will be nice to have the gang back together.

I don't have classes tonight due to the holiday. I'm hoping to take advantage of the free time attending a zoom recovery based support group that I previously attended weekly. I also squeezed in time last week to do career and internship zoom info sessions over the last week. I need to continue keeping my eye on the ball for my next transition despite everything going on.

QOTD - Favorite grocery store is Woodman's. Although, there isn't a location within 30 miles. I shop at Marianos and Jewel usually since they have motorized carts and are most geographically convenient. They both suck compared to some different locations and other grocery stores. Stupid Kroger bought Marianos and ruined it.

My fluid intake is a real challenge right now since we can't drink in the hospital room. That gives me much less time to hit the daily water goal.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine. TJ cold brew, Starbucks sf vanilla syrup, stevia.

L: ? PP shake on the go, improvise at the hospital, or really late pulled pork when I return home.

D: caprese salad, p3 protein, brisket chili or something to fill in protein gap.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
