Good mornin folks! Hope you're enjoying a nice weekend.

My itchiness stuff is a lot better for which I am so so graceful for. I get my first tritiation Wednesday. The pain has been really bad but at least the itching has greatly improved.

My brother and his family are coming over today. They are going to get pizza but I do need to make a cake this morning. Other than those things there is nothing set in stone. I like it that way!

Gratitudes:

of course the itching subsiding

the hope of better pain relief

Monamwho we've had a full year as of yesterday...never have known a sweeter dog! Especially considering how her previous owner beating her regularly

QOTD: what's your favorite colors?

Mornin' Weekenders!

I didn't get much reading done yesterday (but we did our federal tax return last night! And also took a long walk...). Will do that today. Plus more exercise (probably walking while the weather is still being cooperative). Otherwise...nuttin'. Kind of a busy week coming up, so I'm fine with not having much going on today.

QOTD: another turquoise/teal fan here!

B: boy - I am feeling totally stuffed and bloated this morning - no idea way. I must have eaten some fibrous foods yesterday? May just have a protein shake this morning and have breakfast later

MS: plain skyr with berry compote

L: Jimmy Dean De'lite breakfast sandwich (the one with turkey sausage and egg whites)

AS: protein muffin or protein pudding

D: salad with chicken strips and light dressing

have a great day, everyone!

Hmm. Two for bloating. My stomach looked so swollen today. Guess I'm still working out what things cause it. Hope yours is better!

Just checking in...

Good morning all and Happy Sunday,

Everything's still a challenge and extremely difficult. I'm maintaining sanity. My brother arrives tonight. It will great for my pops to have him here and for additional support. Although, he introduces an additional challenge of trying to fix, manage, and control everything.

Gratitudes: My family rallying and my siblings & I banding together. Little moments of faith. A support system who has been there for me. Ability to deal with this difficult time without burying my face in food or alcohol.

Accountability: half a piece of cornbread & Chicago mix popcorn.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: ???

D: Leftovers - octopus, then brisket chili if I'm still hungry.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

You've got this, Matt. Good luck with continuing to navigate family waters, though. Glad you have them.

Also, octopus?

Thanks. Yes, octopus. I had Charbroiled Octopus at a Greek restaurant. It was one of the best versions I've ever had. Also had to do saganaki.

You and your mom are angels for rescuing Mona and giving her a good life. I hope the pain is finally resolved with the pump. My favorite color has always been yellow. It reminds me of sunshine.

Good morning ~ A day is enjoyed is not wasted! Yesterday was SO beautiful and warm in the sun that we ended up at the golf course. I had a virgin bloody Mary - it tasted fine, but I think the whole draw is really the vodka, lol. I hit some balls with no pain then or this morning so that was good news. Lots of putting too it was just so nice. I had a nap, we BBQ'd and watched Elvis. I had previously tried to see it 100 times, but never did. I really liked it though it was sad. Today the kiddo is coming over and we are all going to the mall arcade - it's huge like Dave and Busters and probably Red Robin too. A grocery run and a bunch of Jeopardy episodes. Thankful to have tomorrow off!

QOTD - I love blues, all of them - my all time favorites colors. But I think it really depends on what you are talking about. Clothes, décor and art are completely different. I want a yellow house with white trim and tons of purple flowers everywhere.

Accountability - shared a 100 cal popcorn with the hubs

b- coffee, eggs w/salsa

l - lettuce wrap burger w/side salad and probably a couple of Robs fries

d - leftover BBQ chicken

s - none

have a wonderful day!
