Thank you for reminding me about kale. Nope. Even when I was on a health kick - I just couldn't eat kale. In any form. And collard greens. Very popular in South Carolina, and I honestly tried them made by people who can cook and it's still "nope"..

I lived in North Carolina for 10 years, and I never got used to collards, either. Or mustard greens. UGH! I loved the pulled pork and cornbread, though...

With you all there! Have continued to try variations of the turnip, mustard, collard, etc., greens with no success. Just...yuck.

Good morning. Work was super busy last few days. Plus I had a physical on Thursday, and a massage on Friday (at 4:30 so I had to leave early).

My gut is still not happy. So after massage I had whisky for dinner. I went to bed after that. I hate getting drunk (it doesn't take a lot), plus my knees are burning the following day. I feels like either I had twisted intestine or something is stuck and won't let go. Ugh.

So today it will be a fasting day until dinner. We are going out to dinner.

QOTD: I hate hering in any form. Fatty parts of meat or any fat attached to a meat. I love marbled steak but if there is any type of distinctive fat piece- I start choking. And I can't continue eating. Ugh. So no ribye for me. Just looking at it my throat starts closing. But I often put extra butter on my filet.

I have to purge my fridges from food that probably went bad. I wasn't home much this week and Keith forgets what is in the fridge. Plus I bought him sushi plate to feed him on Valentine. It was an easy "I'll fix you dinner" idea.

Today we are going to comedy dinner theater. So I'll have some food. Maybe.

BTW: we replaced our dishwasher. The old one was still running but there was some damage to the racks, and replacing them would cost way too much. So we added some more and I got a new one. It's very very quiet. We can actually run it and watch a movie. That was close to impossible with the old one. We used to run it overnight. Plus it has more capacity in the same space. As an engineer - that for me defying a logic, but I'm OK with that.

we have a Russian bakery in town that also sells a few Polish pastries (although maybe they're popular in both countries?). at any rate, I love them!

Hope your systems settle and give you some peace. Congrats on a new, quieter dishwasher. That's one of the few appliances I haven't had to replace here, yet!
