What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Are you talking about the Netflix show Wednesday? If that is what you are talking about, yes, I have watched it and it is good.
I am sorry some of your friends have not been there for you during your time of need. Praying the medical team can determine a course of action and you start to see some improvements in your dad's condition..

Good mornin everyone.
I reached out to my pump nurse yesterday and it was pretty disappointing. They want to see if I can "tough" it out. My words not theirs. To see if the itching will improve. If it doesn't...well they'll have to remove the pump. It wasn't what I was expecting to hear. The worst itchiness is around my face...my upper lip, nose and around my hair line. Don't get me wrong it itches elsewhere but these places are just making it impossible to get good sleep and what not. Not gonna lie...I'm really angry. Not at anyone person in particular but just mad. I am angry that the neurosurgeons in this town who could help won't because of Medicaid. I'm mad at the NP down in Lubbock who was dismissive and said h'd seen worse a couple of times. I'm tired of the hits.
It's a stay at home day today which I am happy about. My mom likes to get out of the house more and I'm a homebody for the most part. LOL I'd rather chainmaille than shop.
Gratitudes:
I could say it every morning but coffee. It's kind of a happy place moment
cerave anti itch cream along with Benadryl cream for my face.
Mexican cinnamon. I don't know why or how but I found a brand I liked has the best cinnamon...so good!
My cat Percy who keeps you laughing and awing.
QOTD: about 50 miles from here there was an 84 mph wind gust. Our highest was 58 I think. Instead of a high wind warning like yesterday we are just under a wind advisory. Temps are the regular rollercoaster. Later this week we'll be in the 70° range but tomorrow we're supposed to be around 38. Ahhh living down range of the mountains lol
The only thing I've got planned for the day is my breakfast...oatmeal and coffee

I'm sorry to hear that Mel...sounds like very limited options you can work with when it comes to the pump. Your total medical team doesn't seem very helpful overall. Always fun when they basically tell you to suck it up.

HUGS. I hear you about the itch. Unfortunately it may be 6+ months for your body to starts getting used to the opiates.
I sill get nausea and itch like crazy when need to take more than my normal dose. This morning I had to take 2 nausea pills to stop dry heaving. I hate that. But..I hate being in pain. it's one or the other. So I pick whatever makes me more miserable.

I'm embarrassed to admit that, during a 3-1/2 hour movie, we ate 1/3 of a bucket of popcorn between us. Unacceptable.
