There is a scene that they show how they make you theirs and it's DISGUSTING!! I'd shoot myself before let them make me one of theirs.

Back in the 80s, after The Day After aired, and we were all terrified of the nukes my dad told me I didn't have to worry, we were so close to NORAD we'd be dead first. I found that strangely comforting and also feel that way about the zombie apocalypse, just kill me first.

on the other hand, I am eagerly awaiting our new balloon alien overlords.

oh, thanks for the warning on the zero sugar L&F, I haven't seen that but would have totally grabbed it if I did!

I saw that at the store the other day. I figured it might not be all that great - glad Sheila verified that. I'll pass. L&F is only 80 calories, so I don't worry about the sugar in it.

QOTD- It's been colder than normal, we got our annual snowfall of about 2" (3 is the average) and not nearly enough rain. Only an Oregonian would say not enough rain. Yesterday we had a pretty snowfall but it didn't stick. But it's cold for me 28 right now, high is supposed to be 43 so not too bad. We've had a few clear days where I can see Mt Hood and it looks amazing this time of year all snow covered.

One of the reasons that I go to the movies is for the popcorn, but I have to say that lately it's been rather disappointing. I was trying to cancel my unlimited pass to save money, but it didn't happen so I need to get myself to the movies. I want to see Plane how can you go wrong with Gerard Butler and Mike Colter? If it's not action I end up going by myself.

My roommates girlfriend has covid, someone where she works gave it to her. I also found out that one of the neighbors I went to lunch with last week has covid, so I need to wait another week to make sure I don't have it.

I was pleasantly surprised I got flowers delivered for Valentines Day! They are gorgeous and totally unexpected. My roommate is amazing, I probably should marry him since he is always so good to me.

My Mom offered me money to help with my credit cards, but when I found out that it would just about wipe out her account I decided to take it from my IRA. My Mom uses the account to pay her property taxes and for other unexpected expenses. I appreciate the offer, but couldn't leave her short. I'm hoping when I get rid of the payments I can put some back every month into my IRA.

Have a great day everyone!

I forgot to comment on the Cheesecake Factory. I gave up on going there a few years back. They list their calories on the menu, and everything on there except for the Skinnylicious options has about a billion calories in it. Some of them you wonder how on earth they could have that many calories in the first place - do they inject some of these sandwiches with a cup of olive oil or something? Sheesh. And you're right about those Skinnylicious tacos. I've ordered them before. Not impressed.

That's what I was wondering? The burger had about two trillion calories, but it was not at all large. I guess I'd rather have them go over on the calories than under, but I don't know how they got there.
