Isn't it terrifying at times to know what's in the truck next to you, tearing down the interstate at 75mph?

Because of health issues, I have ended up doing a lot of ordering online. Groceries and meals. I have had my credit card compromised three times in last year. The bank does catch it and then they lock the account and send a new card. Paypal is probably safest way to go, but the world is full of crooks.

If you have a discover card, they will let you continue to use it on in person purchases and recuring debits until they can get you a new one. I have my main Visa I use but the discover is for online only, I don't have to set up recurs when it is compromised.

Hi gang.

I had been following keto, taking my thyroids hormones, and my weight is stuck. I probably eat too much cheese. Cheese is so easy, and easy for my body to digest (beside mild allergies) but its a dense food, and lots of fat. So my weight is stable.

I need to drop eating cheese.

QOTD: I'm no****ching the SB commercials or not. Neither is Keith.

I had a very long week last week, and got home at 10;30-11 pm on Friday. Trying to close the books for year 2022.

I was just tired on Saturday, grab lunch with a friend, then stopped by 2 local shops and got home to vegg out. Sunday a friend came to help me organize the kitchen cabinets, so I was up at 8. I hate some of our cabinets because they have a side deep portions that is impossible to reach . Once things end up there - it's like a black hole for them. I often forget what is in there. and... glass and plastic containers and jars. I had so much more covers for my glass containers, but not containers. The glass breaks eventually and somehow the tops end up back in the cabinets. She patiently matched tops to containers, glass and plastics. And i got rid of some that I never use. I put stuff back in, taking pictures of the back of the cabinet so I know what I have there. I plan to print the pictures and put them on the doors. We cleaned and organized 3 large areas. Plus she helps little bit with other house chores. But the bending and twisting, and reaching... plus laundry and other things - I was done.. I woke up this morning in so much more pain.

But I have acupuncture tomorrow so I get some needles and injections. I get ozone injections in my right shoulder. The injection and the day after-the shoulder hurts , hurts a lot, but then its gets better. So I endure. I can go now 2 weeks without a treatment. I still deal with pain and discomfort in my right shoulder, but its now at 20-30% compared to before.

I totally can now sleep on my back. Only on my back. I manage. I snore now, but... ugh.

We watched some Witcher on Netflix. Season 2 deviates from the books more than I like. But its still and OK show. No wonder he (Henry Cavill ) decided to quit after season 3.

Re Netflix: the new rules is most likely goin to hurt them more... we'll see.

eats today:

coffee with more coffee, tea... more tea...

L: cheese and a small apple

S: nuts.

D: chicken with??? spinach or pickles...

I plan to work late again today. ugh. I really want to close the books for 2022

Hala, that was a great picture you posted Friday.

We bought CD Projeckt Red stock because the Witcher was such a popular game and Cyberpunk 2077 was so hyped. The game bombed and so did the stock. Sigh.

The guy who wrote this is Polish. I started reading and listening that in English and i couldn't get into it. So I bought e-file books in polish. Now - that' started making sense. He takes a lot of behavioral stuff from polish history, polish books, plus other stories "for children" and make that into a combined storyline.

First season Keith and I watched, almost each episode I had to stop it, explain to Keith the background, give him more info, then we could continue watching.

We are on the second season and the story started deviating from the books more and more. I have to remind myself that the series is based on the Witcher books, but its what the writers felt like putting in the series... depends what they were "smoking" as they wrote it...
