Glad you're continuing to heal...and sad for you losing some components of your diet but they're for a good cause!

Hi newbie! Welcome! I posted about it here on the rNR board maybe a week ago...scroll down and look for a post about marginal ulcers. I'm 9 or 10 years out so nothing to be scared about r for the original surgery (still the best thing I've ever done, even with regain I'm down over 100 lbs) but there are risks for marginal ulcers, especially caused by alcohol, tobacco or NSAIDS use. I didn't realize how prevalent or dangerous they are so I'm trying to educate everyone so no one has the extreme pain, stress, or medical bills I now have!

I had a great walk yesterday, it was the warmest it's been since November in mid 50's. The sun was out and I actually had to partially unzip my sweatshirt, it was glorious.

I've been trying to reduce my bills, getting rid of some things that I just can't afford. I'm tired of being broke, and not knowing how I'm going to pay off my credit card debt. Getting those little girls spayed cost a small fortune, which I had to charge on one of my credit cards. I had forgotten that I signed up for auto pay on my medicare so made an extra payment that I can't get back. So that didn't help. Plus they want to charge me for 3 months at a time. More money than I currently have. I did try to get a personal line of credit from my credit union and was declined because I have too much debt. No sh*t that is why I wanted the loan to combine some debts so I only had one payment. I tried, it's like they kick you when you're down. This has totally been impacting me, I can't stop worrying. Plus I will owe on my income taxes, this is the first time in years-so it is just one more thing that I need to find a way to pay. It's my fault I took money from my IRA last year to pay off one of my credit cards, and even though I had taxes withheld it wasn't enough, it pushed my taxable income higher. Just one more thing...

Sorry to be miss doom and gloom but the only good thing this week was my walk. I'm having a hard time focusing on work and just not getting things done, which means a smaller paycheck. I'll probably work tomorrow to get them done so it's not a total waste of a week.

Have a great day everyone!

Look into paying the IRS with a loan instead of all at once.
