Happty FriYAYYYYYYY! Damn, this week has been crazy busy. I mean, not like it was when I was working 80+ hours a week, but busier than I have been in awhile. I think after this class on Sunday things should go back to a more steady pace. I'm looking forward to it! The weekend is all about this class which is Sunday afternoon. I will be home in time for the game on Sunday night, but we don't have any plans around it.

QOTD: What's your hidden talent? I may have mentioned this before because it truly is my superpower... but I can turn on a movie from almost any decade and tell you exactly what year it was released, just by looking at the hair and clothes. Grim thinks I am a genius and loves to test my powers. I got two right last night :)

I decided to do a before and after for Photo Friday. I have been feeling discouraged lately but this is a nice reminder that even with some regain, I am still doing better than I was before.

Accountability: I broke one of my cookies while I was decorating it and I ate it. You'd be surprised at how few of my cookies I actually eat, but this was one fresh and hot... whoops. I also ate an unplanned cheese stick. Otherwise pretty on track.

This morning we are going out to breakfast while we run errands, so TBD on the exact meal but I tend to stick with eggs and sausage as my go-to diner meal unless there is a very exciting omelette, lol.

Good mornin everyone!

It's been a rough morning here. Lots of itchiness, snottiness and pain. Haven't gotten much sleep. It promises to be a long day indeed.

Not a lot planned for the day. I have to go to Walmart for a prescription. We need to run by the bank. We'll prob go get something to eat for my birthday tomorrow. I am wanting Thai and I know it'll be a lot busier tomorrow so we may just do it today. Then I'll have leftovers for a while.

Happy Friday!

JB, you're beautiful! You've come so far in your journey over the years and worked through the challenges. You've got this.

QOTD - I almost always have an uncanny knack for knowing what time it is. Conversely, I never know where I am and almost always go the wrong direction on my own because it feels right. Go figure.

My surgery time got pushed back to 1pm. I have to be there at 11 and we're leaving at 9:15 unless it starts snowing. Nerves are there but not too bad. Hoping for very routine and just having a pillow to hug on the way home. That's the focus of my day, probably not unsurprisingly.

Yesterday I made a huge pot of red beans and rice for the family. For some reason they love my cooking and I was happy to oblige. I cut up everything as small as possible like I'm a toddler because yep, chewing correctly still isn't an ability I possess. All I ate yesterday was one small serving of that and a container of yogurt. So, not enough. I need to stock up on yogurt.

No exercise since I can't drink and I'm super thirsty. Looking forward to water!

Menu is unplanned but I have chicken soup, boiled eggs and leftovers along with yogurt and cottage cheese if food works out later.

Not many pics this week that don't include teeth, so here's my pup being disgruntled I wouldn't let him interrupt the Zoom meeting.
