Oh my, this friend of your sons sounds like a real a-hole. I give you credit for letting him stay at your house. Don't think I could do it even for my son. Here is a toast to your tolerance and grace towards the jerk!

He is a childhood friend of my husband, not my son's. Long time ago I could have made my husband choose, but I don't like those kind of situations so I chose to be graceful with a dash of zinger.

that salted caramel whipped cream is the bomb. Too bad it's only a seasonal flavor (although maybe that's a good thing...)

Did you say he is an English Bulldog? If so they aren't big on walking I've heard from their owners. Like trying to take a brick for a walk on a leash...

Good morning all and Happy Thursday,

I agree completely that this week is flying by. It's crunch time for the next couple days with 3 papers due tomorrow night. I think I can get everything done while keeping all appointments and meetings. I'll adjust as necessary until the papers are done or 5pm Friday night, whichever comes first. 5pm gives me enough time to finish the papers before the midnight deadline.

QOTD - There are plenty of products that got discontinued or disappeared. For me, it's everything personal hygiene related... Product / replacement: Gillette aftershave, Paul Mitchell styling foam for curly hair, old spice arctic freeze deodorant, First generation Mach3 razor blades, original formula of Pantene conditioner for curly hair, etc. I've learned to buy extra when I find I product I really like.

Styles of Ballcaps, like the 3930 line that was fitted but stretchable. I also have started buying duplicates of hats that I love. When my hats wear out or aren't presentable anymore, I have a hard time sourcing the same hat to rebuy. Favorite hat style: 70s Baseball Pillbox round hats with stripes.

Accountability: 3 servings of Angie's boom chicka pop (so good but shouldn't buy again)

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: scrambled eggs w turkey sausage, mushrooms, onions, and asparagus. Roasted broccoli.

D: 2 ribs or chicken leg or pp shake

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

I have sworn off the Angie's Chik Boom Pop kettle corn as I was adding extra handfuls to my serving size. So good.
