this probably sounds ridiculous, but I do lunges, squats (with both legs and one-legged ones), and calf raises while I'm brushing my teeth! My electric toothbrush goes for two minutes - and I do it twice a day. So I can either stand there for two minutes - or else do something productive. Ta da! Exercise!

since I do those twice a day, plus I do a lot of walking and dance cardio (and biking in spring/summer/fall), I'm not too worried about my lower body. The upper half though - ugh. I'm trying to get myself back into using resistance bands again. And you're right - they're really easy to toss in your suitcase...

for cardio, if I'm stuck in the house, I look for walking or dance cardio youtube videos. In addition to "Walk Away the Pounds", I also like some of the "Reps to the Rhythm" and "Brand Fitness" dance videos (the latter is targeted to people age 50+, so it's all low impact). There are tons of dance cardio videos on youtube - but some of them are too high impact for me. I usually remember not to do certain moves when I'm following a higher-impact routine (because I have a bad hip joint + osteoporosis), but sometimes I'll forget and catch myself doing them. So I try to look for lower impact videos so I won't "forget" (there are some other ones out there that I like and do occasionally, but the three I mentioned come to mind immediately)

And balance things! I know space is constrained but adding a balance plate makes everything harder too. Maybe one of the small hedgehog type ones would fit in the RV? And as I was typing balance plate and it made me think of Supershopper and her shake plate - we haven't seen her in awhile, I hope all is well!

I was wondering about her also. I know she had a bunch of travel.

I don't know anything about the hedgehog buddy! Going now to google it. I was thinking the bosu ball. I have a little step stool to rest my feet on while we drive because I am too short for the adult sized passenger seat...and I was thinking I could replace that with the bosu ball. Balance options and storage solutions all in one!

The bosu is pretty bulky and heavy. I hate moving the one at my trainers but thehedgehog pods are the same thing without the big frame, essentially.

she just responded to my message - she's fine - she's just been crazy busy with work. She said she's also lost 10 lbs recently!!

Here are some band routines I do when I'm on the road and have only bands with me.
