Good morning all and Happy Wednesday,
I've officially reached the threshold where every step is a gamble. I need to pull it back on my pushing it and exercising for a day or two. I have one PT session left and really want to compete it Thursday. If I complete it Thursday, they'll be able to submit a request for more sessions to insurance. Insurance hasn't given more sessions any of the last 4 times I did PT. I'm not expecting them to give any more sessions so I'm trying to set myself for continued improvement now.
QOTD - I've seen the 1000lb sisters a couple times but that is the extent of it.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut, Tangerine.
L: 2 smoked ribs (I got a slab last weekend in a $5 BBQ mystery bag & I'm slowly eating 2 ribs)
D: Chicken leg and green beans.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Hi all
My first reply to these great menus of the day threads! It is Friday Feb 9 at 2.46pm here in Sydney Australia but it will work itself out when I reply next time haha.
I had my first follow up with surgeon today which really helped ease some insanity that was going on in my mind! Feeling a lot better and positive about my future. I will book some time with a psycholgist. My work has a good confidential external counselling program we can access 12 sessions for free, so that will save me a fair bit.
QOTD: I love DR NOW! but my favourite season was Season 1 because they followed them for 7 years - it was riveting TV and i was hooked. The year or less episodes since S2 is not as fun and often we don't even see surgery anymore, so I find it less satisfying. I like seeing success - hate the lies. I also enjoy 1000lb sisters for some reason, even though the larger sister drives me mad! Used to love Biggest Loser (Aussie version) but realised it was pretty toxic.
I'm Week 3. So, I'm pretty boring food wise, not that I mind at this stage.
- Meal replacement protein shake
- Cottage cheese with some avocado
- Pureed beef bolognaise
- Sugar free icy poles (think they might be called Ice blocks in the US?) just for boredom sake really
Enjoy your day!
Welcome glad you are here. We call icy poles Popsicles here in the US. And I love Dr Now also. OH conference next year is in Houston Texas where it was scheduled in 2020 but canceled due to the pandemonic. I wouldn't be surprised if he is one of the speakers. If he shows up on the lineup, I may go again just to meet him.
HW 299 SW 290 CW 139 GW 140 2/08/2019 OPERATION: Surgical Hernia with excision of total surface area of 55 x 29 cm of abdominal skin.
