Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
So sorry you're struggling through this finance class but in my heart of hearts I think 87% is pretty damn good considering your final goal is not to be a financial Analyst. How many more weeks Left in this semester? I hope it is over soon.
Our Guest Arrived yesterday and so far, so good. He is very chill. I made him take a walk this morning. Not so sure how happy he was or me because I had to pick up poop. I love doing this it reminds me why I do not need this kind of responsibility. I think he is here till the 23rd. So, I'll have a big enough dose before it is over.
QOTD: Funny that this is the QOTD. Yesterday I had a classmate drop of 30 tickets to sell for out upcoming 40th reunion. I was one of the older students in my class my mom kept me home till I was 7. I think I have gone to ever reunion so far. This will be the first since surgery so it will be interesting to see.

Did you go right into first grade? It's always interesting to me how the school year things worked. I was always one of the youngest because they let you start kindergarten as long as you turned 6 by end of October so I started at 5

it wasn't required when I was a kid, either (I started in 1965). I think my mom wanted me out of the house, though (ha!). I think it was a good prep for regular school, though. Back in those days, most mothers stayed home, so a lot of kids never went to daycare. So kindergarten wasn't as "academic" as it is now. We did learn our numbers and letters and how to write our names, but that was about it for academics. The rest of the time we just played. It was mostly for social development back then (which now kids get much earlier)

I lived in Virginia when I started school and there were no public schools offering kindergarten then either - 1973, I think. It was off to Catholic school for me that year.
