I went to catholic school in the late 70s and will never forget getting whacked with the pointer when I used my left hand. I used to be ambidextrous but now I refer to my left as my decorative arm. Nuns, SMH

Good morning all and Happy Tuesday,
My new aide started last week. So far so good. This is her first time being an aide and she works as a truck driver, as well. She has a good attitude, works hard and follows directions. I hope she lasts.
On the physical front, I'm not doing so well. There's something unknown going on with my feet and it's starting to get worse. This happened previously three years ago, lasted weeks, I could barely stand then and they never figured out what it was. My legs were extremely swollen and I went through various treatments and medications. It did go away while they were contacting specialists, as a last step before admitting me to the hospital.
Also, my body is just revolting in general. My pain is worse than normal and has been at that level for four weeks now. I hope it's not the new normal. Every movement is pain, every step is intense pain and feels like my knee is is ready to buckle.
That being said, it's just something else to work around and adapt to. I'm still killing it and feeling good about that. I'm making progress mentally, spiritually, and with life in general.
QOTD - Never been to a reunion. I would like to go to one in the future.

Positive start with the new aide. I hope they are able to get your pain under control. Good job on making the progress you need mentally and internally - I imagine that also helps with dealing with the pain and challenges!
