Good morning QJB and everyone. We made it to Monday! Well I'm still off work so it feels like any day to me haha. Kris is in NY for work and I'm home with my 12 year old stepdaughter. Girl time! We watched a Netflix series about amazing vacation homes yesterday and Jen, one was an igloo in Lapland, Finland. Amazing. I so hope you see the Northern Lights!
Today is a pretty typical day of a person on short term disability I would guess. Mammogram follow up this morning, a home nurse comes to change my PICC line, and a teledoc with my infectious disease doctor. Y'all don't want marginal ulcers post-RNY, lemme tell you! But, I'm progressing well with food (tolerated a scrambled egg yesterday) so Leah and I may go walk around Annapolis later and I'll get a crabcake and she can have a kids grilled cheese haha. I had tofu and tuna and flounder this weekend and zero issues so crab should be a safe bet.
I don't really get hiccups so I got nothin for ya, QJB! Sorry.
I do hope you post cookie class pics! Do people love it? Are they shocked how good they are at it with some direction?

I should follow your lead and do the pre work to prep for work. If I could convince myself to put in a half day on weekends, it would be a much smoother transition each week. Someday...

Good morning ~ I definitely feel that meme! I had a nice relaxing weekend. Went to a BBQ at my sisters house, saw 80 for Brady - it was fun to see all my favorite players and re-live the best Pats game ever! The ladies were cute too. My rib pain seems manageable now thankfully. I choose to go with the pill form of HRT. I was warned that cream may transfer to my husband?? And the patch makes my skin welt. For some reason the implant/injections weren't an option. I'm giving it a go, hopefully it will help. Today I have a busy day at work then another appt at my WLC this afternoon to review all my tests and results.
QOTD - I don't remember the last time I had hiccups but Rob gets them something awful and often. Nothing seems to work for him but time.
Accountability - a few terrible cold fries at lunch
b- coffee x 3, HB eggs
l -green chili chicken w/tom/onion/cilantro topping
d -same
s- TJ's cheese bites
Have a wonderful day!
