I am curious about what fried green tomatoes taste like?? Do they taste different from red tomatoes? It sounds like you kept on track despite all the yummy food options.

Yes, Fried green tomatoes taste completely different. They are sour not sweet. The breading and deep frying make them lovely. I have them topped with crab imperial and balsamic glaze at a few restaurants. So many recipes to choose from on the internet I highly recommend you try them at least 1 time.

Plus one this! Your topping sounds amazing. I love when they're slightly tart and still have a little crunch to them. Mmm.

A year ago, no one would have threatened to throw you anywhere. Crazy how people's perspectives change. We are still the same as we were pre surgery. Take it as a win. I would.

Good mornin everyone.

Got the staples removed yesterday. Boy that one on my back is an ugly incision and it going to be a very ugly scar. They hurt like heck coming out and I bled like a stuck pig. I was told not to do anything to exert myself. I was hoping for a little bit of freedom but alas not this week. I have to see the neurosurgeon next Monday so we'll see what happens then.

Not a lot planned for the day. The itchiness is extreme this morning and I've been up since 11:58. My bed feels like I'm wrapped up in barbed wire. We might go to Sam's but not 100% sure. I could use some raspberries.

QOTD: my favorite was the baked ricotta and I kind of did the same thing with making shakes.

B: JUST egg, cheese and a zero net carb street taco tortilla + coffee

L: taco salad with 1 tbs sour cream

D: 2 ozs popcorn shrimp(bakes) and carrots

S: quest protein chips, chicken lunch meat and ??? Maybe a package of pistachios

a photo from 8 years ago...they were and are so stinkin cute.

As soon as your aloud to use cream get a scar reducing cream and use it every day. They do work.
